Apr. 22, 2008 - The last week of holidays, work, a lot of reading, hanging out with my friend I haven't seen in a while and a phone call from my best friend I haven't seen in well over 2-3 years!
Wow! Thats a pretty long Title/heading. So I best get started.
Okay, we are on our last week of holidays. I can't believe they've gone by so fast. Usually they take for ever and I can't wait to get back to school. But these holidays have gone by so fast and I can wait to get back to school. Still no holiday makers. Evans Head is completly empty of holiday makers. So thats good.
Now for work. I had to work 4 days in a row last week cuz I asked for extra shifts. Now this week is easy. I work today 4-8, tomorrow 4-8 and mabey Thursday 4-8. I need the money too. I have to pay back some money to Erin, Mum and Dad. But I'll have to pay them off slowly.
I also opened a savings account yesterday. I have decided to do it cuz I'm 1 of those ppl who LOVE to spend money. So I asked for the savings account and to put aside $30 a week. By the time I'm like 65 I could be a millionaire. How good does taht sound! So mum just has to sign the paper work and I'm all done. And the good thing is, is that I cannot touch that account at all. Not one finger. So I'll have a lot of money when I'm older.
I have been able to catch up in my reading too. I've read the Jumper book and now I am reading Jumper: Griffen's Story. If you'd seen the movie you's get what I mean. There are 2 books. 1 about David Rice, the amin character and the other about Griffen O'Conner. They're good books. When I'm finished with that book I'll move onto Christy. About that 16 year old who began teaching in a small school in he mountains. I can't wait.
My friend Janey came over yesterday morning to hang out with us. So we, Erin and I, all got ready to go to town. First off I went to the bank and asked for information about that savings account I mentioned up above. Then we went down to the fish and chip center and bought a large slushie. We all had rainbow. Erin wanted 1 so she bought us all a large. Then we went to Cj's and had hot chips for lunch. Then an ice-cream and we went to Janey's house and she picked up her movie we were going to watch and brang it over to our house so we could watch it. It was Step Up 2: The Streets. I think it was her Uncle who bought a whole bunch of DVD's from another country, wich I forgot. So that was fun. I enjoyed it.
I got a phone call from my best friend who I haven't seen in 2-3 years. I was so surprised and happy to hear from her. That was the high Light of the day. We talkd for a while then she talked to Erin and she hopped off. So that was good.
I never new I typed so much. Guess I should go. I have nothing else to say and I have to check my emails then mum has to hop back on and do something for Dad.
