Works for Me Wednesday

I get lotion and potion gift sets for practically every occasion. You know the kind....with lotion, body spray, shower gel, etc. I always use the body spray and shower gel long before the lotion is used up. The perfumed lotions are not usually very moisturizing. They are mostly for scent. I have started mixing that unused portion of the lotion with my good moisturizing lotion that I use daily for hands and body. Now I get a quality moisturizer with a beautiful scent and it doesn’t go to waste! Works for me!

I like that idea! It would also help dilute the stronger scents, too - I like a more subtle fragrance.

That is just a great idea, thank you so much for sharing. Usually I end up throwing those out because like you, I don't think they moisturize very well. :)

I know that this is an older WFMW, but I just had to comment on it!

I love this idea! I have a basket full of scented lotions that I have received as gifts. They either don't do the job in the moisturizing department or they are just too strong smelling for me to even bear to wear them. So, I'm going to definitely use this idea. Thanks so much!
