Whoa, I haven't talked to you in a while. I guess that is entirely my fault cuz I haven't posted at all on here in the past FOREVER! lol. I just posted a few days ago so...I'm leaving a comment and just wanted to say HI!

You're going to laugh when you read this.
I was on vacation, and my cousin and I took the paddleboat out on the lake. The seats were wet, because it had rained, but we sat on them anyway. We were docking the boat, and I saw a snake in the water. We started screaming, and we hurried and docked the boat. We started running up the hill, but then we figured, 'what if we step on a snake?' so we slowed down. We got back up to the top of the hill,(Uncle Dave built a cabin up there) and Mom and Grandma are laughing at us. My uncle Terry was walking over from the house, and got to the cabin just as Dakota realized she hadn't put the life jackets away. She was begging Uncle Terr from on top of a lawn chair to go and put them away for her. He refused, so Dakota got a shovel, grabbed my arm, and marched us down to the lake. Halfway down, she stopped, handed me the shovel, and said 'Okay, if you see that snake, chop it's head off.' I argued against that for a minute before i got her to continue down the hill. We got the life jackets put away, and ran up the hill. When we got back up the hill, it took us a minute to realize that we had left the butterfly net down there. Dakota gave me the shovel, and picked up a nasty-looking hoe. We went back down there, got the net (we had been using it to catch minnows) and picked our way slowly back up the hill.
We pretended we had been so scared we had wet our pants. (the boat seats were wet, remember?)

Sorry about the length, but I had an exciting evening.
