T, F, S, S, M
Hey guys, sorry it took so long to write another enrty, I have been rather busy lately. So on Thursday I went to ballet class, and was feeling awfuly tired, so we went straigh home after an hour of Advanced. Mommy got Sushi for me to eat in the car.
Then on Friday, I went to rehearsal as planned, and earlier I talked with Claire (from ballet) on the internet, and she said that she would be at modern so I could sleepover. After a loooooooong rehearsal
where Julia and I learned this awsome part in the dance where we dance opposite of each other, it's really cool, Claire's mom picked us up, and we went to Dairy Queeen to get some blizzards.
Then we went to Claire's mom's house (her parents are divorced) where I met Claire's brother, Will. Claire has an attic room that she shares with her sister, (whom I had already met) and a very steep ladder leads up to it. But it cool, they have all pink and green decorations. We talked forever and then finally went to sleep. Funnily enough, I was dreaming of trying to get to sleep.
When we woke up (well, I woke up at 6:51 when her adorable, Hedwig, cat rubbed up against me) it was about 8:00, and we looked at some old Dance magazines for a while talking about pointe shoes, and dance companies, and other stuff.
After, we came down to find Claire's mom making chocolate chip pancakes, and we all had about four each. They were really good! Oh, and we also had fruit with it. Then we walked to the school that is just down the street from her they have a bunch of weird exercize thingys in the playground, so we tried all those out. And by the time we got back, it was time to get ready for ballet class. Claire's Dad took us there.
Class was fine (since it was Saturady, it started at 12:15) my ankle was starting to hurt though, as we went on pointe, so I didn't quite go up all the way on it. Then Claire an I ate some of the enormous lunch her mom made for us (and I mean enormous!). As the two hours went by, more girls from the school started coming in for rehearsal; the russian doll, the spanish dolls, and the can-can doll, had rehearsal. Then all the main dolls, and the family had rehearsal together.
This time we did the opening scene and we went through the doll's dances (we had to skip quite a few since many were not there). I didn't have much to do seing as the rehearsal's I've had only composed of changing what to do in the begining. But some of the other dolls told me that that was what Mrs. Hart seemed to be doing with them too. Although everyone else has a lot more to their dance than I do.
Oh well. After rehearsal, mommy picked Claire and me up and we took Claire back to her mom's home. Then mommy and I went home.
Sunday was uneventful, except for it snowing a bit, I pretty much spent the day inside. On monday, I woke up to about a foot of snow everywhere! And mommy telling me that she found out at 3 in the morning, that ballet was closed today. But, after we ate breakfast, Rachel and I put on a load of snow gear, and went outside. There is this great hill that goes down to the side of out steep driveway, and goes down on the other side, so Rachel and I grabbed our sleds and started down. Unfortunately, only one sled would work, so we had to take turns. The other sled kept knocking into trees and such.
Although, I still knocked into a bunch of trees while sledding down, at the end of the hill, there is this little tunnel of trees that we made the sled go though, and after that you pretty much go wherever the sled takes you. In my case: right into a tree. One time I actually bumped a tree so hard, I went backwards upon myself.
Seriously. Rachel got it right almost all the time. Then Rachel insisted that when I start to go down, she hangs on to the back of the sled, which apparently is incredible fun. Well. Not for the person on the sled I might add. See, if someone grabs the back of the sled, your knees go up to the front, which causes you to go head over knees when you hit the bump that was our driveway. Ouch indeed. I put my foot down after Rachel did it 3 times. It was unpleasant. After Rachel got bored of sledding, I went inside, and Rachel stayed out to make a snow fort. Then I remembered that we had bible study. I made Rachel and me some cucumber salad, and and we all read proverbs 8. Afer that, Rachel and I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Then I made some hot chocolate and read a book. At about 7 pm, Mommy made dinner, and we all had dinner together. We had spaghetti and salad. And a merlot wine. I had a bit, but I have a cut on my toungue, so I didn't have more than a few sips. Then I went back up to bed to read a while, then I started to get a headache, so I took some asprin and went to bed. I don't know what I'll be doing today, so thats all! I hope you read everything in this entry, because it was all worth reading!
