I wanted to wish all my bloggin' friends a very
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

I stayed home from church this morning with Gracie and Ian.  Ian is better, but Gracie has been running a fever again this weekend~ had it yesterday at my parents', all through the night, and has still been running it today.  Poor girl~ I just don't know what's wrong~ she finished up her Zithromax today~ so you'd think she'd be getting better, instead of worse.  I may have to make a call to the dr. tomorrow if she's not any better.  As a parent, I hate the helpless feeling that I have when my children are sick.

Brian and Ashley brought home some pretty flowers for me (from the church) and a nice card with some money in it for me to buy some new clothes~ of course, it made me cry~ I get emotional that way!

Brian stayed home with the kids this afternoon, while Ashley, my mom, and I went out to do a little shopping.  I had a shirt that I needed to return to Target (for the 2nd time!  the shirt got little holes in it in the exact same spot as the first shirt!)~ so I exchanged it for a different shirt, bought 2 more shirts at Kohl's (buy one, get one free sale!), and another shirt at Wal-mart.  Now I'm feeling a bit better~ I was getting into one of those "I have no clothes" phases~ and I hate that!

We topped our day off with a free sundae for moms at the local ice cream shop!  Yummy!  Hope you all had a fantastic day!

Hope that Gracie is doing better. I understand what you mean... I feel helpless when my kids are sick...
