I am to nominate 5 bloggers that I feel are deserving of this award.
Of course, I'd love to nominate everyone in my friends list~
but I was only to select 5~ so here they are:

My new friend Susan~ she is an author of young adult fiction books (that I can't wait to read~ mine should be arriving in the mail any day now!  )  I have really been enjoying reading her blog and the many reviews of books that she's included, as well as stories about life at her house.  Oh, and did I mention that she, too, is a huge Trixie Belden fan?!  We Trixie fans have got to stick together! 

My dear friend Isabelle~ she's a "newer" blogger here at hsb, but I've had the honor of meeting her and her family in person a few years ago when we met up with them at Niagara Falls.  We spent several days together camping and "roughing it" and had a wonderful time.  We actually first met when I had posted a prayer request on a message board concerning our up-and-coming adoption (of Gracie)~ so we've been friends for about 7 years now!  Oh, and we share a birthday~ how special is that?!  I must tell you~ she's 1 year older!  

Letitia~ words can't even express how much I appreciate her blog posts!  Not only is she a fellow adoptive mother, but she is just a few steps ahead of me in her homeschool journey and I read every one of her posts with great interest and excitement!  We've never met, but I feel like I know her, because she comes across as so "real" in her posts!  Hope to meet up with you someday, Letitia~ you're a real inspiration to me!  

Robin~ I met Robin just a few months ago, when I was honored to be hsb's featured blogger.  It just so happened that my prize was a copy of her book~ which I was thrilled to receive and review.  Throughout that time, we started e-mailing back and forth~ and she actually allowed me to help her re-do her blog~ what fun!  Robin is a seasoned homeschooler, having graduated 2 sons, so she's got lots of great ideas.  Head on over and check out her blog's new look~ I'm excited about it!  

And, last but not least, another new friend of mine, Michelle~ she's not a fellow homeschool blogger, but she is a homeschooling mom of 2 precious little boys adopted from Korea~ so we've got the adoption connection going on~ and I enjoy popping over to her blog and seeing all the pictures of her little guys and reading about their day-to-day activities.

Wow. I am overwhelmed at your sweet words. You are such an encouragement to me. It amazes me anytime someone says my posts were encouraging to them! : ) You have always been a dear blogger friend. I will try to get my girls busy today helping me get the icon set up. : o (what AM I going to do when they leave home?)
