This is my first ever entry as a Crazy Hip Blog Mama!  Today's assignment is to share our best summertime photos.  I am ashamed to admit that we haven't taken too many pictures this summer!    Here is one of Ian that was taken a few weeks ago at a youth outing at a local state park.  This was his first time on a non-baby-swing:

Notice how happy he looks!  What the picture doesn't show is that just a few short seconds after this photo was snapped, he fell face-first into the dirt below him~ poor guy!  He's a typical little boy~ full of bumps and bruises at all times~ never a dull moment with Ian around, that's for sure!

Maybe its because his name is Ian (my middle son's name), but I just have a soft spot for this little guy.

What a cutie! I know what you mean about little boys - I have one who is now 2 1/2... he's always getting into things and getting bruises... certainly keeps me on my toes.

What a sweetie. Poor guy. He probably didn't see that splat coming. I don't think any of my girls have ever fallen out of the swing, but a couple have eaten a face full of dirt coming off of a slide too fast!
I'm tempted to sign up for one of these weekly things. Another friend does the show and tell Thursday (or some day), but I figure I would never remember to post it! Speaking of which, I really will update soon. I even have one partially typed in my drafts.
