Wikipedia Tag
You know me~ when somebody else tries something fun on their blog, I need to get in on the action also. So, I had to try this Wikipedia birthday thing for myself. The rules are basically to type in your birthday (month and day, no year) into a Wikipedia search; then share 3 events, 2 births, and 1 holiday/celebration that takes place on that date. I won't tag anyone else, but if you think this looks fun, try it for yourself and leave me a comment.
Here are mine:
1602 - The Dutch East India Company is established.
1852 - Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin is published.
1974 - A failed kidnap attempt is made on Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and her husband Captain Mark Phillips in The Mall, outside Buckingham Palace, London.
1950 - William Hurt, American actor
1984 - Christy Carlson Romano, American actress
The vernal equinox usually occurs on this day.
