Komodo Dragon E-book
The other week, as part of Tiany's Homeschool Open House, I was the winner of some great products by Melissa O. Markham~ M.O.M.'s Recipe's (on cd-rom~ which has TONS of yummy-looking recipes~ and I LOVE the title~ very clever!) and her Komodo Dragon E-book.
To be perfectly honest, I wasn't very familiar with Komodo Dragons. I had heard of them before, but really had no idea what they were, where they lived, what they look like, etc. After reading through this e-book, I have a much better understanding of Komodo Dragons. I can tell you that they come from a place called Komodo Island, I can describe for you what they look like, how they live, etc. Melissa really put some time and effort into the creation of this e-book. I was very enlightened, as were both of my girls, who were eagerly looking over my shoulders as we sat at the computer and read. The book is complete with tons of full-color pictures of Komodo Dragons in various stages of life and activity. Another thing that I really appreciated about the book was the fact that Melissa has included direct links to various websites that you can go to for further information.
Though I must admit that I'd never like to encounter one of these dragons in my lifetime (to me, the yresemble a dinosaur!), I'm glad to have learned a bit about them. If you or your child is interested in learning more about the Komodo Dragon, I would highly recommend the purchase of this e-book. I will be interested in seeing what other e-books Melissa may choose to write in the future.
Thanks, Melissa for my great prizes! I've been enjoying them!

Heidi, the hummingbird book should be completed the first of October if not sooner.
BTW, meant to say in your last comment that if you need some help figuring out pay per post (it was tricky for me at first too), let me know and I'll help you out!
Have a great weekend!
