I saw this survey on my friend Ange's blog and thought I'd share my answers with my readers as well.  This is a bit different than the other "day to day" type questions I usually see in these surveys.

Position at church (if any):
Well, I serve as a deacon couple, along with my husband Brian.  I am the primary teacher of the Junior High Sunday School class (that means that I teach the class every Sunday, with the exception of vacations, sickness, etc. when I call in my substitute~ I just can't stay away from those kids!), I am part of a group of 3 ladies who facilitate our Ladies Ministry meetings (which we call BLESSings Group), and I am on the committee for the Sweetheart Banquet
If you could have dinner with 3 people dead or alive, whom would you choose?
Oh goodness, this is a tough one.  Obviously, alot of people would say Jesus and I'd love to host him for a meal, though I'm sure I'd be a nervous wreck.  However, for the sake of the survey, I'll try to pick 3 other "people":  Queen Esther (wow!  what a position she had!), John (the disciple~ I'm sure he's got some amazing stories to share beyond just what he's recorded in Scripture), and (because I'm in need of a girl's night out) my friend Lisa
Name 3 of your favorite books:
Do you read my blog?  I don't know if it's possible to pick just 3 books.  Definitely Anne of Green Gables is up there pretty high on my list, and I'll say anything by Beverly Lewis and Janette Oke.
Name 3 of your favorite movies:
I always feel weird when I say that my favorite movie is "A League of their Own"~ I don't even like sports (baseball) but, for some reason, I just love that movie!  For a good cry, I enjoy "A Walk to Remember".  Right now, I've been enjoying "The Ultimate Gift".
Name 3 of your favorite TV shows:
We don't have cable tv (which equals NO tv, where we live) so we only watch movies and re-runs (series on dvd).  I love The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and Charlies Angels, among others.
What music are you listening to?
Currently FFH's "Worship in the Waiting" (it was a Christmas gift)

Tell us a little more about yourself and your family:
I've been married to my hubby, Brian, since February of 1992.  This year, we will celebrate our 4th anniversary (you figure that one out!)  We have 3 children (whom I brag about on my blog quite often, so I'm sure you're familiar with them).  After 5 years of doing in-home day-care, and 7 years as a Designer for Home & Garden Party, I'm finally nothing more than a stay-at-home homeschooling mom~ and I LOVE IT!

Get prophetic: Where do you see God taking your ministry?
I can only imagine!  God has taken me to places that I would have never dreamed that I would  be.  So, I try to remain open to His leading.
For Sunday worship, do you use a hymnal, sheets of paper, or a computer?
We usually sing 2 hymns and several praise songs~ so we could use the hymnals, but the songs are always projected on the screen as well.
