Kirsten Lapbook
Last week, I shared about our latest homeschooling adventures and promised to share pictures of Gracie's lapbook on Kirsten (the American Girl). Here is a slideshow that we made for on Gracie's blog; I'll share it here as well:
Gracie isn't always thrilled with all the work that has to go into a lapbook. Though she is creative, I think she'd rather "do her own thing". This lapbook kit (by Knowledge Box Central) however, was fairly simplistic, some mini-books requiring one-word answers to complete them. I think Gracie enjoyed it better than having to do alot of research and spending alot of time. She's not a huge fan of the American Girl books (yet), and I think this really helped her to appreciate the historical story.

My daughter on the other hand loves the American Girl series and was grateful that I incorporated it into her literature. Love your cover! Where ever did you get the picture?
