Last month, I saw this post, and decided to participate in this fun swap for February.

Other than sending things back and forth with my friends on my message  board, I've never participated in an online swap before.  So this was a fun, new adventure for me (and one I'll definitely participate in again!)

My swap partner for this month was Miss Amanda.  Though I have heard of her, and seen her name ALL OVER the blogosphere, I didn't really "know" her.  This swap gave me a chance to learn more about Amanda, to read her blog, and to e-mail back and forth with her.  I enjoyed trying to think up things that I could bless her with~ things that she would enjoy and would suit her personality and her tastes.

Amanda definitely put some time and thought into selecting the  gifts that she would bless me with as well!  I loved EVERYTHING that she sent to me. 

I wrote that I loved chocolate, and although it was suggested to us (swap participants) that chocolate doesn't mail well, Amanda managed to send me an adorable little chocolate Santa from England.  He didn't last long~ I gobbled him right up yesterday!  Yum!

I shared my love of coffee (that was before I was making a conscious effort to be more healthy and switch to tea!)  Amanda sent me some organic coffee~ when I read the label I was surprised to see that it has all the antioxidants that are in tea!  Ashley and I enjoyed a cup of this yummy coffee yesterday afternoon.

When asked about my favorite school supplies, I shared my obsession with pens~ things like highlighters and sharpies.  And, guess what?  Amanda sent me this awesome Creative Memories container FULL of highlighters and sharpies!  I had mentioned needing a better storage solution for all of our pens, and she took that and ran with it!

Oh, and she also sent an adorable little scrapbook kit~ a background, journal tag, and stickers~ that I'll be anxious to use one day soon!

Amanda~ you did great!  Thanks so much for everything!  I really enjoyed being your swap partner this month and hope that you were as blessed by my gifts to you as I was by yours to me.  It's been a pleasure getting to know you!  ~Heidi

haha... yeah the bookshelf was my accent.
I think I look funny in those pictures. lol.
Yes, I love crocs too. They are so great in the summer. Cool and trendy and easy to care for! I have 2 nice pairs and a pair I wear outside for work.
