I apologize for being such a lousy blogger this past week!  Fortunately,  I was able to post my interview with Lynellen Perry about the teen pregnancy book that she and her mother have written.  I've gotten very positive feedback and I want to thank each of you who left a note or sent an e-mail.  My prayer is that this book will be put in the hands of everyone who needs it!

I've spent the better part of this past week working!  I must say, I'm loving my new job with TOS.  I've been doing E-Book reviews, along with working on some special projects (one of which is the up-and-coming planner that TOS has in the works~ keep watching for more details!)  Not only do I love The Old Schoolhouse magazine, but I also love homeschooling and everything that it entails;  so it's so easy to put your all into something that you're passionate about.

Last night was the Casting Crowns concert that Ashley and I had been counting down to.  It seems like so long ago that I started posting Weekend Worship segments, leading up to the concert.  In leiu of Weekend Workship today, I'm just going to share a picture of Ashley and me, meeting John Waller and his guitarist.  (John is great~ so nice~ and his music is wonderful~ I need to go and buy his cd now!)

I'm not sure why it's so bright (Ashley and I look like ghosts and we're really not that pale!  LOL)   Luckily we ran into a friend of ours who snapped this picture for us.  We were with friends of ours from church and my friend said she looked down from her seat and saw a man with his arm around me and thought "hey, that's not Brian!"  LOL  Ash and I love music, so we really enjoy going to concerts.  We don't go that often;  but when we do, we have a blast.  You can see more pictures from our evening on Ashley's blog.

And now.......I'm tired!  I think I'll head to bed and read some of The Light Across the River (I started it last night~ so far, so good~ watch for an upcoming review).

I love Voice of Truth; bet you guys had a great time! Thanks for giving me a progress report. My mom is 3/4 of the way through and says it's great! That's what moms are for. :-)

I'm getting ready to hit the sack too. I'm just about done reading the Yada Yada book 2 for my bookclub. This is my second time reading it.. and still love it.

By the way.. you can come to FL and get some sun if you don't want to look that pale... LOL.
