Crash!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Marcelo is thrilled when he gets a golden retriever puppy for his birthday, but now he faces one of the toughest jobs of his life, not only because owning a pet is a huge responsibility, but because he has to find the perfect name for it - and that's hard!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Multi-genre author, reviewer, dog lover and animal advocate Mayra Calvani hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She's a regular contributor to Blogcritics Magazine and American Chronicle. When she is not writing, she enjoys reading, playing the violin, interviewing other authors for her blogs and newsletters, watching reruns of Gilmore Girls, and walking her golden retriever, Amigo. She’s the author of the picture book, The Magic Violin, also published by Guardian Angel Publishing.
HEIDI SAYS: What a cute picture book for little ones! I love dogs and golden retrievers have to be the most beautiful dogs! So, I enjoyed reading this sweet book about a little boy and his golden retriever puppy. Marcello goes to great lengths to not only care for his new puppy, but also to choose the perfect name for him. If you've got little ones, especially ones who love dogs, I'm sure they would enjoy this precious book. Not only is the story good, but the illustrations are fun as well - and the illustrator is a 16-year-old girl from the Ukraine!
You can buy Crash! at Amazon.com or directly from the publisher. Crash! also has its own blog http://www.crashthepuppy.blogspot.com, with reviews, dog coloring pages, games and activities for kids - you will want to check that out!
Also, Mayra will be donating 50% of her royalties to Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc., a non-profit organization: http://www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org/index.html
