Beauty by Design Ministries
I recently had the opportunity to preview an e-book by Beauty by Design Ministries. This website was created by Alyssa Avant - a Christian writer and speaker who has a heart for young women and teaching them to grow in godly-wisdom and grace. Alyssa says "It is my heart’s passion to help bring out the beauty that is in all of us by God’s own design. Through uniquely designed events and empowering information, I help girls discover how they, too, can be different, set apart, and truly beautiful in the eyes of God and others for being who they really are. It is my hope and prayer that I can be a part of your ministry or organization’s efforts to touch the lives of young people."

The e-book I received to review was Seven Easy Tips: Encouraging Your Daughter to Say No. Here is what the website has to say about this book: "If you are like many moms, you are just praying that you’ve said all the right things. If you want to be sure that you have the words to say to your daughter to encourage her to indeed, “Say No” when the time of temptation is upon her then our guide, Seven Easy Tips: Encouraging Your Daughter to Say No is a must read for you!"
HEIDI SAYS: This little e-book should be in the hands of every parent of a teenage girl! It is very straightforward and to-the-point, while gently telling parents what they need to do to be an encouragement to their daughter in saying no to drugs, alcohol, pre-marital relationships, peer pressure, etc. Just as the title suggests, there are seven easy tips to tell you how to do this. These steps include things such as being an example to your daughter, encouraging her to pray, and helping her know how to wisely select friends. As a mother to a 14-year-old daughter, as well as being the Jr. High Sunday School teacher at my church, I appreciate helpful resources such as this. It was a quick read, but worth the time it took me.
