The Chapman family
I've shared before on my blog how blessed our family has been by the ministry of Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. When I heard that they were going to be on Good Morning America and Larry King Live, I was sad that we don't have tv service and wouldn't be able to watch. We did watch the GMA segment afterwards on the internet. And just this evening, Ashley and I sat down to watch the Larry King Live segments. All I can say is "wow!" I mean, other than the fact that Larry King can be a bit rude, as far as getting names wrong and butting in a lot, the Chapmans did an amazing job at holding up and professing their faith. I cannot even fathom the tragedy that they've been through this year, and my heart continues to break for them, but I'm also continually inspired by them.
If you take the time to watch the YouTube videos (link above to the 1st segment) take notice to Will Franklin's t-shirt. That is the Show Hope t-shirt. Brian, Ashley, and I have that same shirt - we got them last year when we volunteered at Steven's concert in Lancaster.

First of all, I love your new look! That picture is absolutely gorgeous...so cool and refreshing.
Anyway, I watched both interviews this week too. I cried like a baby both times because of their amazing transparency. God was glorified in both interviews, for sure.

And I always will when I hear SCC now because of how your family has been so personally blessed by their adoption ministry.
They are such an inspirational family and SO down to earth.

We watched them both - and you are right about getting Maria's name wrong...uugh...Aaron just about gasped each time - he's like - "you've got to be kidding me - that's just a LOT rude!!" ---
Thanks for visiting my blog...I wasn't really trying to sound Eeyore like in that many don't visit my blog...it was more to the fact that sometimes I just don't know what to blog about - or - think that I'm already on the computer I'm sure - "too much" and just don't take the time to blog...
Have a super rest of your weekend, dear friend! - Chare

Thanks so much for sharing this link, Heidi. I turned on the TV the other night and there were the Chapmans...and it was the very end of the program! I was so disappointed about missing it, so it was great to be able to see the whole thing today.
I, too, wasn't thrilled with Larry King's rudeness, but the Chapmans were amazing. I'm still sniffling!
