Thanks to my friend Crystal for sending me an educator's discount coupon code, the girls, my mom, and I were able to go to Sight & Sound yesterday afternoon.  The four of us got in for only $40, which is less than the normal price for just one ticket!  We love going there, but it really is quite expensive, so this was a very nice special treat (not to mention an awesome field trip opportunity)!

We saw Behold the Lamb (the Easter story) and it was SO moving!  It may be my new favorite show that we've seen there (and we've seen pretty many now - including Noah, The Miracle of Christmas, Ruth, Abraham & Sarah, and In the Beginning). 

If you're ever in the Lancaster, PA area, I'd highly recommend going to see ANY production there - you won't be disappointed.

Is there any movie, show, or production that you would recommend this Easter season?

How can we get the discounts? We are a group of lady bowlers from Jeannette, PA coming out there for the state bowling tournament in May AND to see the show...and a few can't afford the ticket price.
Any ideas would help.

The code I used for tickets was for EDUCATORS and STUDENTS only, and expires today (March 31st). I'm not aware of any other value-priced tickets at this time. Depending on how many are in your party, though, you could get group rates (that helps, at least, a little bit).

Maybe, also, your bowling group could do a fundraiser to help earn money for those who can't afford the tickets. Maybe do a spring bake sale or a donation garage sale or something. Just a thought...
