Let me preface this post by saying that processing the applications for the new Homeschool Crew is so much fun!  While doing so, I always discover some really neat blogs.  Like, for example, last week I won a contest that I had entered on one such blog (yeah, me!) - I would have never found that blog if not for the Crew (and, boy, did I need that Nature's Providence gift set!)

Debbie's Digest is another neat blog I came across.  She does a neat meme called Blast from the Past.  I love that there's not a particular theme each week - you just post ANY picture from the past and explain about it.  The "past" is as broad as your definition of it - you can post pictures from your childhood, or you can post pictures from yesterday!  So, it's really quite simple to participate and, if you're anything like me, you love looking at old pictures!  If you're looking for a fun new meme, check out the Blast from the Past information for more details.

Now, for my first Blast from the Past ...

I was thinking that, since my girls have just recently finished up their school year, that I should do something school-related for this post.  So, in honor of the completion of school, I thought I'd share both Brian's and my graduation pictures.  Brian graduated in 1987, I graduated in 1988.  Wow - I'm really dating myself.  It's so hard for me to believe that it's been 21 years! 

My, how we've aged!  Now, the question of the day is this ...

I'd say that Ashley looks more like you, but I just started reading your blog a week or so ago so maybe I am wrong. I hope you join me often. I can't wait until Friday. It's like waiting for Christmas!!!

But I though that before I saw the graduation pictures. Maybe it is the haircut, but my first response to her picture in the side bar was - Wow! Heidi sure looks a lot younger - oh wait, that is not Heidi!

I've always thought you and Ash could be SISTERS - yet; I'm thinking she looks quite a bit like Brian here....Hmmmmm...She's definetely got a bit of both of you!

Wel, I still think Ashley looks more like you, but more like you NOW than like you in your photo high school photo. I DO see some of Brian's features in her though. It's amazing how you can see 2 people in children.
