Words I thought I'd never say ...
Why?
Well, it's a long story, but I'll try to condense it into one sentence ...
I get holes in the front of almost all of my shirts!
I thought this was a problem that only I had, until my BF confessed that the exact same thing happens to her. Misery loves company, so we started doing our research (isn't the internet great?!) and came to find out that many people seem to have this same problem. There were many ideas of what might cause this problem, some of which are preposterous - such as belly button bugs (ummm... ewwww!) or the washing machine (does my machine have a brain, premeditating putting holes in all of my shirts at the exact same spot - right at waist level? if so, I'm scared - seriously!)
To me, the most likely causes for this annoying problem are the seat belt in the car (but Brian's shirts are fine) or the kitchen counter (hmmm.... sounds like a likely culprit to me).
Hence, the need for an apron!
PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY SHIRTS!
Here's how ...
Know anybody who makes those cute little aprons that all of you homesteaders are always talking about? If they'd like to send me one in exchange for a review and some free blog advertising, please e-mail me!
I'm desperate! Both I (and my shirts) will thank you!
(Please feel free to pass this note along to all your apron-making buddies!)
Cause, the fact of the matter is this -
if I need one, I want it to be a CUTE one!

Heidi, this is so funny. Ask Tina at my old shop about this. She had the same problem and we laughed so much about it. We figured it was the seatbelt too... hmmm.. She thought she was the only one ruining shirts!! heee Joelle

Hey Heidi,
I would love to take you up on your apron and blog review offer. I don't make aprons but saw some really cute ones the other day...that look a lot like the design on your blog.
I started a web site this past year that helps homeschooling families take advantage of free travel accommodations. I would love for you to check it out and share it with your readers! Thanks and email me! amy@hsneighbor.com

Hi there Heidi! I saw your post about the apron! I never would have connected the two, but I'm so glad you did! I happen to know a lady who makes wonderful aprons and she loves my cinnamon rolls! So, I make cinnamon rolls and you get the apron!! :) I would love a little bit of advertising to get some more traffic over to my homeschooling blog! www.HomeGrownMommy.com Thanks so much! I'll let you know when the apron is finished so you can let me know where to send it! No advertising needed until you see it and love it!! :)

belly button bugs?? as in chiggers?? Heidi, seriously. I'm not even going to let my mind go there! LOL. However, if you lived in MS, where I grew up, we might have something to discuss.
I hope you get some neat aprons, and it solves your problem.
Are you sleeping better?
