1. One of the best concerts/plays/movies I ever saw that I really didn't think I'd like was The Jonas Brothers. (actually, I knew I'd like them - I just thought I might be the only old person there! LOL)
2. Deli Pizza from Wal-mart is a recipe I recently made (or meal I recently ordered) that was delicious!
3. It's time for grocery shopping.

1. Changing leaves, jeans and sweatshirts, and my business trip to Tennessee (and meeting all my friends/co-workers) are some of the things I'm most looking forward to in October.
2. Sometimes I say really stupid things.
3. If you had asked me, back in the day, if I would ever homeschool my kids, I would have said, "Are you nuts?!" and that's why there is a saying, "never say never"!

5. The dining room (it's really a multi-purpose room as it's our schoolroom and my office!) is where you'll find me most often.
6. A rainy day is good for reading and watching movies.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to a spaghetti supper at a local church, tomorrow my plans include not much of anything and Sunday, I want to celebrate my Dad's birthday with him!

Friday Fill-ins #85
I just saw this on Karen's blog and thought it looked like fun. Wow, this has been going on for 85 weeks and I've been missing out. I'm a day late (and probably a few dollars short), but I'm going to play along anyway, and hope to make this a fun addition to my blog. It's good for blogging ideas/topics, for sure! You can check out this meme here. (Even though today is Saturday, I'm going to fill this in as though it's Friday, so as not to mix things up too much! LOL)
1. The last meal I had at a restaurant was the Honey Mustard Crispy Chicken Salad that I blogged about - at Perkin's - Thursday night - yum!.
2. Political talk is something I intensely dislike.
3. The full moon is an absolutely beautiful site.
4. We're hicks around here, so some of these probably aren't blog-appropriate, but here's one I learned from my bf (hi, Sue!) and I find myself using it at times - "_____ is all over like dog poop" (it means that you see that person everywhere! LOL) is one of my favorite local expressions.
5. Sometimes it's best to just give in.
6. The Man from Snowy River is the best movie I've seen so far this year! (I used to love this movie and we recently rented it from Netflix. I know I've seen more good ones, but we've seen so many it's hard to keep them all straight!)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to going to the mall with Ashley, tomorrow my plans include seeing "The Sound of Music" at a dinner theater with my mom and the girls, and Sunday, I want to go to church and get some rest!
