me and my family are staying at our grandparents house for thanksgiving. our grandpa cooked the most amazing thanksgiving dinner. we watched gi joe last night. that`s it. ~allyson
Nov. 23, 2009 - Almost done
I'm almost done with my room. It is so cool. The walls are lime green, the trim is black, around the doors and the window sill are hot pink, and the door and the closet doors are going to be chalkboard black. I will post pictures of it when it is done. Oh one more thing I got a new bed it's a trundle bed I sleep at the bottom and my sister sleeps on the top.

Oct. 22, 2009 - Find Missing Loved Ones
For some it may be lost loves or family members. For others like myself, it is lost friends.
I do not know why it happens, but life takes strange twists and turns and before you know it you have lost touch with someone you love.
There are a few people that I have considered to be very close to my heart. I have been blessed to have a best friend at every stage of my life. But for whatever reason, I allowed life to separate us.
I do often think about my special friends who I feel blessed to have known. I wonder if they have families of their own and what their children might be like. In fact I do hope that one day I will have the opportunity to be reunited with them.

Oct. 20, 2009 - Free Dry Erase Paint
There are a neat paint freebie available this week.
The first is a special paint that turns any surface into a dry erase board. I think this is the coolest thing I've seen in a while.
There are just so many ways that this could be used. I'm thinking it would be a great way to make a message board in the kitchen.

Oct. 12, 2009 - Painting The Room
We are painting our room!
We are painting the walls lime green, and the ceiling white, and the bottom of the baseboards are going to be black, the doors are going to be chalkboard black so we can write on it, and the windowsill is going to be hot pink.
We are almost finished the walls and the ceiling is done.

I am painting my room.
I am so excited!!
We started on Saturday we picked the colors the night before and moved all our stuff into the basement I am not going to tell you the colors; I will post pictures once I am done for now it will just have to be a surprise!!

Oct. 7, 2009 - NASA To Blow Up The Moon
Have you heard abut NASA's plans for early tomorrow morning?
Apparently Nasa is planning to send a rocket to the moon. But this time they are intending to actually hit the moon!
Does this seem a little strange to you? I mean do we really have a right to fire a rocket at the moon and damage it all in the name of science? And what if their plans go wrong? And how will this change the moon?
I understand what they are attempting to find out with this little experiment of theirs. They are hoping to find water beneath the surface of the moon. I for one am very curious to see how this goes and will be watching tomorrow morning news about how we attacked the moon.

Sep. 29, 2009 - Blah
New entry time!
Wow, it has been so long! I can't say that a whole lot has happened, except this September I went to an absolutely amazing church conference in Morningstar and I've come back a changed person. If you don't want to read this whole thing, scan it and read the underlined part, Kay? =)
Sure, there is nothing wrong with running after God. I wanted to run into God's open arms, and then I figured something out. I'm already there.
And now, here's what I got to do. I can't get comfortable. You wonder what I mean, right? Well, I know a lot of people who are comfortable with the way their lives are now, and that's cool, but I beg to differ. I don't want to be comfortable just piddling around, reading the Bible from time to time, and bumbling through life, waiting for things to happen. I want to keep going...
When you love a person you want to know everything about them, right? You want to know their favorite band. Their schedule. Their deepest secrets.
So, since I love God, I should be striving to know these things about Him. Hence my phrase, "Don't get Comfortable". I'm not going to get comfortable just hanging out with God. I want to know everything I can. I want to live for him.
As you can tell, I had a lot of time on my hands while I was gone and I enjoyed every minute of it. I miss Morningstar already. But I can't let people feed me everything. I have to learn about God for myself. And I love Him...Man, I love Him.
Sep. 15, 2009 - School
We started school last week!!!
I am supposed to be giving my mom something written every week but I forgot to last week, so I'm writing a report on Harriet Tubman and I'm going to write one on William Lloyd Garrison. I want to finish the Harriet Tubman report tonight but I don't know if that's going to happen. 
I need to go to the library soon to get some books on William Lloyd Garrison.

Hey, I started School. I am SO happy. I love school
. I am in 5th grade now.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot: I am playing soccer again! I am in u-12 now.
