Robin's Nest

Another update

It is looking more and more definite. I talked to our caseworker today, and she said though she still has not gotten the official written request, she expects it anytime now.  She was able to give me more details about the children's current behavior. The 2 year old sounds like a normal 2 year old - she likes to say no. The 2 month old reportedly eats well, and gets up about every 3 hours at night. No tooo bad. And, the caseworker said that after the transfer becomes official, we can talk to the foster mom and find out the kids' sizes, the 2 month old's formula, if the 2 year old has any favorite foods, etc. I think that having those things ahead of time will really help make the transition more smooth. I'd much rather have everything already in the house and have a restful evening with the kids than run around trying to get necessary things after the kids get here.
