We got "the call" Friday - "How soon can we drop off the kids?" So, I was trying to hurriedly make arrangements when the caseworker called back. She had just found out that the kids were sick. Due to the nature of the illness and the fact that we have a young child and I'm pregnant, we told them we would not take the kids until they had gone through treatment - which takes about a week. So, the caseworker said she was going to look for another family who could take the kids sooner. I know that God has the perfect home for them picked out, wherever that is.
We are a family that has opened our home to foster and adoptive children. Follow our journey along the way...
