A bit of my corner......

    Over at  www.creativelittledaisy.typepad.com, Autum has given a little taste of what her corner of the world looks like.   Here's a bit of my corner.  I've had a really nasty cold this week and am staying home as much as possible, so this is limited to pics I've already taken.       The first is one of my favorite corners in our house, right next to the fireplace.    When we built our home a few years ago, I wanted something in it that wasn't brand spankin' new....witness the fireplace of reclaimed brick with a big hunk of wook from an old barn as a mantle. 




Here's a shot looking northwest  from the back deck (taken late last summer-with a little revolutionary war reenactment going on)



And a view looking east from the front porch (taken late last fall, after the field had been harvested)



Here's what we'll be seeing and dh will be doing now that harvest is starting    (another from last fall)
