Happy Camper

    Here's the result of our afternoon at the Cub Scout "Raingutter Regatta" -- a very happy scout who got to bring home a trophy.    This is for "Best in Show"  (2nd place) which is where the scouts all get to vote for which boat they like the best.     We found out a bit too late that it's really better NOT to shape your little boat like a lean, mean, racing machine (too unstable in the water) but our scout still got to race quite a few times before being eliminated.     I had the older boys come with and cheer him on - he's sure sat through enough of their events, I figured it was pay-back time.
