Two More!

Clover had twin ewe lambs this afternoon!   It's so good to see her with them - I blogged about Clover way back in August when she was really sick.   She got sick while she was visiting another farm to be bred and even the vet didn't think she'd make it.   We busted our rears trying to save her and it paid off- especially today!   I'll have to take a few pictures of the new lambs.

In the meantime, I'm determined to finish up the knitted gnome today.   Here he is in pieces, which I've been keeping in this little project basket I made last summer.    It's an idea I on saw on the Wee Wonderfuls blog and tried to duplicate.    It's the perfect size for some sewing supplies, some embroidery, or a small knitting project.
Speaking of Wee Wonderfuls, I think I need to make a few of these for Easter!

Congratulations on your new lambs!
I just discovered your blog and am excited to find someone who homeschools and likes knitting (and The Loopy Ewe, which is how I found you I think, from the comments there). I read your post on MathUSee and totally agree. My girls (4 of them) really like it far better than any other programme they've used before. They never complain about doing their math anymore, and Steve explains things clearly, so I seldom have to (he even reminds me of things I've forgotten, or explains them in a way I hadn't thought of before).
I'm a little envious of your farm life, though. We're in the middle of the city, and I know the girls would love to live on a farm.
Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know I'm reading and enjoying your blog!

Glad everything went well with Clover's lambs :)

I love that fabric drawstring basket....that would be great for the Easter bunny to fill up!
