The wet weiner
Note to all weiner dogs: This is what happens when you decide to roll around outside in fresh cat poop. I don't care how nice you think it is, your people will not appreciate your new aroma. You will have to take a bath in the laundry room sink.

Any attempt to escape will be futile!
And you don't have to look so disgusted......it's your own fault!

And now for a little sewing..... this has got to be one of the world's easiest skirt patterns, Simplicity 7229. It's got patterns for three different skirt lengths and also cropped pants.
It's got a drawstring waist, so you don't even have to put in a zipper. Most of my summer skirts are shorter than this, but it's nice to have a few long skirts too that I can sit down in and not worry how much leg is showing. I wear a lot of casual skirts in the summer - that's my favorite part of summer actually, being able to wear a cute skirt and some sandals. It's definitely time to get out the spray tan stuff though, my legs are pretty much blindingly white.
And one last thing.......I think it's time to throw that yarn gnome out on his keester.....he's definitely falling down on the job and here's the proof: Lorna's Laces yarn spaghetti:

Poor weenie dog. I hope you Febrezed him when you were done. LOL
I haven't made myself anything to wear in years. I use my machine for crafts more than anything else. But you know, you inspired me. I'm going to buy this pattern and make some cute skirts, too. What a great idea! Cute skirts with sandals would totally work for me.
By the way, thank you for your sweet comment - Cameron and our whole family are doing so much better now than we were just a week ago. We don't like it much and it makes us sad, but we can live with diabetes.

Awwww. Poor Weiner Dog. I'm taking his side. ;-) (Unless he's the one that made the yarn mess at the end -- that would be just inexcuseable!) Love the black and white skirt!

Cat poopie covered doogies (no matter how cute they are) most definitely deserve a bath!! Pee-UU! Cute skirt, how great is that that you make them for yourself. 10 million times better than most of the junk they try to sell us these days. And that yarn gnome needs his pink slip I think!

Poor Max! He's just trying to disquise himself so he can go on a big hunt or something.. And if you aren't going to let him roll himself into a yarn ball, than he HAS to resort to cat poop!! The bath does look a little humiliating!!
Love the skirt... I haven't sewed in years... maybe I should dust off the ole singer!

I love that skirt. I have not done well on my attempts to sew clothing. That looks pretty easy however. I may have to try it.
