More info!
There was a question in the comments about the animation kit so I thought I'd give more info here in case more people are interested. You can go to NR Productions to order the kit, which was $69 and includes a book, webcam, software, sound effects, etc. I think the boys will learn a ton with this, they are anxious to get started but haven't got it fully figured out yet. Also, the camera that came with our kit seems to be broken BUT I emailed them last night about it and got an email back last night that they will send a new one out asap, so they seem to provide good customer service. (if you go to the website check out the "stikfas," we bought a few of those as well and the boys love them.) I think for most of their animation they will be using their extensive lego collection- it'll be fun to see what they come up with.

Windows Movie Maker works well too!

Saw your post on the home page of homeschoolblogger and thought I would pop over. My son has been making 'movies' with his Legos using a digital camera and Windows Movie Maker. Do you have a post with your son's movies posted?
