Eventually.....
Still no internet. LLA, I feel your recent pain!! So, last tuesday night, the internet signal was fine. Later that night, we had a huge lightning storm. Next morning, no internet. Coincidence?? Apparently the 2 guys sent out to fix it yesterday think so. They tried to tell me it was because of our trees. New trees grew up overnight to block the signal?? In the meantime, we are leaving tomorrow for a quick vacation so MAYBE when I get back I'll be up and running again!! : ) Have a great weekend!!

Do you know the symptoms to watch for in those who suffer from internet withdrawal? Just be careful.. it can be severe! ;-)

I have actually been having the opposite problem. Even after I disconnect my phone line thinks I am still on the Internet. People who try to call me think, I am always on the phone or Internet because they are always getting a busy signal. I am now having to remember to unplug the computer from the phone line, so that I can use my phone.

So sorry to hear you've got a case of the internet cruds. Been there. Done that. Still pissed off just thinking about it...
Have a lovely trip! And I'm looking forward to getting caught up on all the "Weathertop Farm" that I missed while I was out of commission...
(I started to say that I was sending "happy internet connectivity" vibes your way. Then I had to laugh at that. I mean, if I actually had any h-i-c vibes, do you think I would have been offline for THREE WEEKS! Hee!)
