Final Christmas Recap
Christmas is officially over here at the farm- although I can hardly believe we're welcoming in a New Year tomorrow.
We had a great time with all of farmer husband's relatives that came to visit. We had guests from Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Indiana. It was a busy time as my bil and family stayed with us for several days, plus we hosted the entire group for the evening meal on Friday and Saturday. Most of the group had to leave early Sunday, and we had a brunch for the people still in town. I really did have lots of much-appreciated help, but it was still tiring and by Sunday my back was telling me to slow down in no uncertain terms! Still, we are rarely all together and we'll always treasure the opportunity we had to host everyone. I decided not to post one of the group pictures we took (as some people don't like pictures of their kids on the 'net) but here's a few highlights:
Did I mention there was lots of eating?
And yet more eating: (hmm, I notice the same nephew front and center in both these pics- guess those college guys are always hungry)

My sil spent hours and hours on a geneaolgy project as a gift for farmer husband - he loved it:

There was time for a knitting lesson:

I love this picture of these two (farmer husband's cousins)
A shot of the kitchen clean-up crew in action:

Abe had no trouble getting into the Christmas spirit:

A great time, finished off by everyone needing a nap:

Happy New Year Everyone!!
