Show & Tell : Small Things
For Friday's Show & Tell, here are a few little pouches I sewed up yesterday. I really like making these to go along with gift cards or other small items. It just seems to help make the gift a little more personal. They are very simple to make, (and I may enjoy pounding on those snaps with the hammer a little too much!) if you'd like a tutorial there's one to be had here.

Tomorrow we'll have a busy day as youngest boy has a baseball game, and the older two are taking part of the test for their second-degree black belts. It made me smile to read all the comments about the bread, mainly wondering how long that bread lasts around here! Generally I make 5 full-sized loaves, and it lasts a week, if we only use it for sandwiches. I let it cool completely, then they go into the freezer until we need them and it works great.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, especially all the moms out there.

Your pouches are so cute -- I'll be you DO have fun pounding on those snaps! We have a tree that currently looks just like the blooms in your last picture -- I love it, it's so full and pretty. All the trees in our area seem to be at their peak this week -- just perfect for Mother's Day. I hope the goats remember to wish you a Happy Mother's Day!

Your little bags are so pretty and very useful. I should make some to hold the greeting cards I make, just never thought about it before. What a great idea. I love the fabrics you used, too.

LOVE those pouches! Super cute. I'd really like to have a snap press. Where did you find yours? And that elephant fabric is pretty much to die for.
Thank you for sharing these and bravo with the creativity!

I love the pouches you've made. I made one similar for myself with velcro; I like the idea of a snap even better...will have to try that next time. Can I ask where you found the fabric with the elephants? It's so cute, but I have not come across it anywhere...
