Aug. 22, 2007 - An Informed Political Decision for Bible Believing Christians
This is a fantastic blog entry-

Snippet-
I am writing this article because I am so upset with the Church, at large. Christians, for the most part, are so misinformed about our natural world. Many churches teach and many Christians confess Scriptures, claiming the promises of God. Yet, when it comes to choosing leaders to legislate and to execute just laws for which they are authorized to do, most Christians and church leaders are asleep at the wheel. No one cares what the church thinks. The church is a laughingstock in the earth, generally speaking. All people, Christian and Non-Christians, need to be informed about placing leaders in positions of authority over us. Politics and religion govern most of our lives in one form or another, directly or indirectly. Everything that we do is basically governed by laws: doing business, banking, investing, education, taxes, travel etc. are all regulated by laws of the government somehow. If you ask most Christians (regardless of ethnicity) about politics, they will give you many reasons why they choose a candidate, or they don’t get involved in politics at all. From my experiences, most people pick political candidates for the wrong reasons. But here at BG Street, we don’t want to hear the mainstream media rhetoric, and we don't care about what your parents taught you. We want relevant information, so that we can process it and make sound decisions that will help us and the ones we love. So let’s see what the issues are (in line with Scripture, common sense and the US Constitution), and not what partisan politicians think.
