I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year!

 I will have several things to post about in the coming year........

My parents gave me a digital camera for Christmas, and I hope to put it to good use.  I have yet to post anything on my chickens, which I would like to do. And I would also like to show you some tea towels I have been embroidering. Also, I will be continuing the Narnian posts, I apologize for not having been more faithful on those. Thank you all for being so patient with me.

I recently read Northanger Abbey and I am reading Mansfield Park ,both by Jane Austen, which I am really enjoying. I recieved the entire collection of Jane Austen's books for Christmas, along with four novels of Charles Dickens', Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, and The Screwtape Letters, also by C.S. Lewis. And my dear brother gave me the soundtrack for The Return of the King, hooray!

I will hopefully post again shortly..............In the meantime, I do love comments!

I got a digital camera, too! And I am so glad that you are enjoying Mansfield Park and Northanger Abby. Back in July my great aunt gave me a set of Jane Austen, so I read all of them then.

Oh-- Mere Christianity is a really good book; I'm reading it right now, and its quite interesting and well thought out. I'm also looking forward to more Narnia posts!

It sound like you had a good Christmas. :) That's wonderful that you received a digital camera for Christmas! What brand is it? I'm saving up for a special digital camera, but it'll be quite a long while before I have enough.
I started Mansfield Park quite a while back, but I never finished it . . . I'm not even sure of how far I got into it.
