No Excuses

I am ashamed that I have not posted in so long! I have no excuses. I want to reassure my still faithful readers that I have not given up blogging, and that I am infact working on several much more interesting posts at this very moment. I shall hopefully have one of those up within the week.

I am having some trouble getting used to the updated photobucket format...but once I master it my posts should be coming out much more quickly! I thank all of you for commenting, and if I failed to get back to any of you I am sorry, please do try again!

St. Valentines Day

Valentines day, ah the sweet smell of chocolate, the crinkle of store-bought balloons, little red hearts sprinkled all over town, and for me...Presents! Why do I get presents on Valentines day??? Because it is my Birthday. Yes, lucky me.I love coming down stairs early in the morning on Valentine's day and seeing our breakfast plates set up and our chairs decorated with balloons and when you dare to creep closer to your plate you discover a mound of chocolate and for me maybe a wrapped gift or two. I also look forward to going to a choice restaurant on my birthday ,but that tradition is not strictly for me, that is usaully when I open my gifts from my parents and brother. I have a large family (Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents ect....) so then we have another birthday celebration, because it would be awfully hard for everyone to go out to dinner every time someone had a birthday and it is a lot of fun. We all go to my Grandparents and my Grandma makes a cake, then we eat and open presents, and we play games and we play draw two.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day, I would love to hear about it.
