What a fun lesson that was! Bach is for next week. Then we move on to Mary Cassat and Mozart in November. I love homeschool.

We do not do structured art nearly enough, but my boys are quite artistic on their own (right now, Nathan's creating a picture of a glade with oil patels he found in the house). I really need to add that in, though. We have been reading about Monet this year and looking at his paintings.

The second semester, we are going to read about Beethoven and listen to his music. There's a great series which has come back into print by Opal Wheeler about famous composers. Another CD series we have is Themes to Remember. It's a blast to listen to when driving around town.

I love the new header! Just beautiful, and I plan to hang your Einstein quote in our kitchen (homeschool room!). I would add some more elements on the right-hand side. It may also be just my monitor, but I have to scroll the bottom bar to slide over and see the right-hand side. You blog, either way, is an inspiration!
