The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY March 2, 2009...
Outside my window... it's dark, and very cold: the high today was only around 15* or so, and the low tonight is supposed to be around 5, with the same for tomorrow.
I am thinking...about all I've accomplished so far with my mother-in-laws bills, and feeling good about it
I am thankful for...full cupboards---lots of food in the house right now
From the kitchen...the coldest room in the house.  I ran the dishwasher today to generate some heat.  Most people would have cooked.  LOL
I am wearing...grey sweat pants, my favorite oversized cream colored sweatshirt, and two fuzzy pairs of socks
I am creating... a filing system to keep my mother-in-law's papers straight
I am going... to take my younger son to the dr tomorrow: he's been having headaches---sometimes 2 or 3 a day---and I want to find out what's going on
I am reading... nothing at the moment; Still thinking I'll start that David Jerimiah book soon, but have not done it yet
I am hoping... that my son's headaches are just pediatric migraines, like his big brother, and also hoping that they will get under control with the same medicine DS1 uses
I am hearing... the special features from the Peter Pan DVD---some sort of game
Around the house... I did some cleaning up in the kitchen today---a major deal for me, who hates to be in the kitchen---hurray for me!!

A few plans for the rest of the week:  Avon to deliver, DS2 to dr, need to buy milk . . . again!  Also hoping to get up to my mother-in-law's apartment one day this week and work more on cleaning it out---lots and lots to do there.
