The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY Monday April 20, 2009...
Outside my window...it's cloudy and chilly, good chance of rain today
I am thinking...of how I want to schedule the day:  need to go out and run an errand---do I want to go soon, or later in the afternoon?
I am thankful for...more time at home lately, plenty of food in the house, and the rent paid on time this month
From the kitchen...seriously need to mop the kitchen floor today
I am wearing...still in sweats, and my favorite fuzzy socks--not warm enough for shorts yet
I am going...to have to break up my boys soon if the bickering doesn't stop
I am reading...Better Late Than Early by Raymond and Dorothy Moore
I am hoping...to finish my project in the kitchen this week
I am hearing...boys bickering, and banging on something with Tinker Toys
Around the house...lots of decluttering to do, and more laundry
One of my favorite things...time at home, alone---rare, but lovely
A few plans for the rest of the week:  run an errand today, put in an Avon order tomorrow or Wed., take boys to gym Tues night,  visit my mom, work as much as possible at my house---so much to do!
