The Simple Woman's Daybook
FOR TODAY Monday April 27, 2009...
Outside my window... it's dark, as I'm getting to this late, but still unseasonably warm out
I am thinking...how did it get so late?  and why are my children still up?!
I am thankful for...the nice day we had today with my mom.
From the learning rooms...I finally got the quarterly reports done and sent out!  whew!!
From the kitchen...I got up early (for me) and made some cookies this morning before we left---unheard of!!
I am wearing...shorts!  Can you believe it?  And a t-shirt, and bare feet---love it!
I am going...to try really hard to stay current with the mail from now on, instead of letting it stack up in piles
I am reading...Better Late Than Early (still) and also a short romance novel here and there
I am hoping... to continue my de-cluttering mission this week
I am hearing...the boys playing nicely---which is good, except that they should be in bed.  sigh.
Around the house... still lots to do.  Tomorrow and the next few days are supposed to be rainy, so I won't be tempted to be outdoors instead of working inside.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  oddly enough, I haven't planned out the week yet.  That's unusual for me.  I knew we were going to see my mom today, but I've not thought further than that.  Hopefully most days at home this week.
