Our Christmas poem

We have been putting this together over the last couple of days as a group effort. It was fun alongside our Christmas lapbooks / Gospel studies. The lapbook templates are free and are held on the downloads page of the Veritas press downloads page.

The Christmas Alphabet Poem

Angels appearing,

Baby Jesus,

Cattle,

Down to Bethlehem,

Elizabeth’s son John,

Frankincense, Myrrh, and Gold,

God sent his son,

Herod’s census,

Israel’s deliverer,

John the Baptist came first,

King,

Lover of mankind,

Messiah from the line of David,

New born King,

Only begotten Son of God,

Presented in the temple, Simeon rejoices,

Quietly escaping to Egypt,

Righteous king,

Shepherds come and see,

Tribe of Judah,

Under a new star,

Visions to protect him,

Wise men seek him,

Xciting evening,

Yearning for freedom,

Zechariah speechless,

About Me

Reflections on life and homeschooling from my rose garden. My focus is my three kids, Dancing Butterfly, Einstein and Happy-Feet, the way God speaks into our lives, and the lessons we learn. Officially we us a Classical Approach to our home-school, but I think that's often just the framework for my sanity. As we live in New Zealand, and enjoy nature and photography theirs likely to be a little of our local nature studies as well.
