Yet another entry today!
I suppose this is making up for the times I don't put anything in!
I did get to town today, and bought some fleece. Some is for blankets for my two youngest children. Some is for a poncho for myself, just for casual wear. I'm thinking it might be nice to wear while camping (we're supposed to be going soon). I've got some coordinating fleece to make a hat and bag with too. I'm going to base my poncho on the directions found here. I'm going to look around to see if I can find a pattern for a hat and bag too, or I might just figure something out myself.
Here is something I found inspirational today, from the Homeschoolblog "Serendipity" What Kind of Wife Are You?

Don't you just LOVE fleece?! When the weather gets chilly enough for fleece, I get as happy and giddy as a school girl. Bring on the cool autumn weather!! :-)
Be sure and post pictures of your finshed products, I would love to see them!
Blessings,

Sep. 18, 2006 - What a challenge
Posted by DawesAcadamy
Hi, thank you for your encouraging comments on my blog - it's great to have somewhere to express feelings without having people doubt your capability so to speak! I had a quick look at the wife challenge - wow, I know it and I do try it but don't think I often succeed :-) It so goes against the grain doesn't it - especially in the world we live in - to think of someone else before ourselves and to love unconditionally!

Greiving Mother--Are there sadder sounding words? I think not. So many beautiful ladies have walked in these shoes, and I am so grateful to God for allowing me to meet them and be uplifted by their words and their prayers. He always knows just what I need --Amen! Thank you for your uplifting!
The more I hear about HSB'ers sewing and knitting their own stuff the more I think I need to RE-learn to sew and knit! I do hope you post a picture, I'd like to see how it all turns out.
