I have been enjoying the nice calm days we have been having recently. My favorite pastime has been (as portrayed in the photo above), playing the guitar, writing songs, and just generally having a good time plucking strings. I have also enjoyed spending time with my family and being able to read The Bible more in the mornings.
We have also all been enjoying the lighter days outside for longer periods of time, but even that now is starting to come to a close, unfortunately. School is looming ever closer ahead and that means… (gasp!) More Aeneid Translating! (faint).
I have recovered sufficiently and can tell that even though there is more dreaded Latin, we still know that there is hope for the holidays. We still have a month of summer lying before us so that’ll be enough for me.
Here's a good verse to remember as we push on through life.
“Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." John 12:36.

Nice Pic "over head"! :-) Looks like a beautiful place to be playing the guitar! ;-)
I have been trying to learn the violin... Yikes! No one would want to hear me! ;-)
I love fall, and don't mind when school starts, (And usually I'm ready for it to start.). But I don't have to do Latin, maybe this makes a difference?
Great verse! :-)
Have a great day!
