calling all clients.... calling all clients....
calling all clients.... calling all clients....
I have a favor to ask of all of my past clients. A question that I get asked by all of potential clients is, "Will I be able to make changes easily to my design when you are done?" It doesn't really mean much when I say, "Sure, you will be able to do it." Of course, I would think that it would be easy.... I programmed it. So, can you ladies share your experiences pertaining to working with me and working with you code after I was done with it. I am opening myself up for critism or praise. What was it like to work with me? Is your code easy to work with? Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner? Are my directions clear and to the point?

What was it like to work with me?
I asked Ronda to transform my two column blog into three column without changing the look. It was very easy to discuss changes with her and I received an overview of what needed changed in order to accomodate a three column blog. We went through a process of resizing some graphics but Ronda was very hospitable during the whole time.
Is your code easy to work with?
This is a tricky question. Ronda did a fabulous job of labeling the code for ease of use but I already knew some basics about code so this really wasn't an issue.
Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner?
I haven't had to ask Ronda any questions outside of the time she devoted to setting up the three column code. I think there was one issue the same day we transferred it but that was handled right away.
Are my directions clear and to the point?
From what I remember, yes.
Ronda does wonderful work and she puts all her heart into it. She is a sincere, honest person and it was a pleasure working with her. I recommend her all the time to people interested in having a three column blog like mine. Homeschool Bloggers are blessed to have her expertise available to them.

What was it like to work with me?
Ronda completely redesigned my blog for me. It took a while for us both to get our minds wrapped around the project. After some initial snags we came up with a fabulous idea and I'm thrilled with it. Check it out for yourself. Ronda really put her heart into the project and tweaked all the little things I needed her to so that I was happy and completely felt like the blog was MINE!
Is your code easy to work with?
This is a tricky question for me too. I know a little about html but still need Ronda's help from time to time. She always seems more than happy to help answer questions or fix something for me. What would take me hours takes her just a few minutes. I'm still learning and she's still helping.
Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner?
ALWAYS!!!
Are my directions clear and to the point?
Yes SIRREE!!! I've referred several of my friends who own a business to her. They seem very happy too.

Coming from the perspective of knowing NOTHING about HTML, Ronda has been a Godsend. I haven't made many changes to my blog, because I am happy with the way it is, but the few changes I have made have been a piece of cake. Ronda took the time to explain to me what I would need to do, and it was easy. Any time I have a question or problem, she is there immediately. HTH!

Answers to your questions:
What was it like to work with me?
Fun! I had a whole new blog done by Ronda. She took a basic webset & let her creative juices flow - freely! It's definitely nicer then I ever expected & I enjoy blogging even more now (since everything works! :-)).
Is your code easy to work with?
This is not too tricky for me to answer as I'm a real novice. I just haven't had time to learn, but I'd like to someday. I haven't done much yet, but so far, I have not had trouble being able to add or modify (with some help from Ronda when I'm unsure!). Everything is very clear though, & where I've needed to go so far has been easy to find.
Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner?
Absolutely! No problems. :-))
Are my directions clear and to the point?
Yep. I have no complaints & I highly recommend Ronda to anyone wanting some help with making a new blog or redesign or whatever they need or want to do!

My blog was finished by Ronda just recently, so I haven't had time to make a lot of changes, nor have I wanted to, yet. I am so pleased with the new look, and with what Ronda did with a basic webset that I would willingly recommend her to anyone else.
What was it like to work with me? Ronda was a lot of fun to work with. I enjoy her sense of humor.
Is your code easy to work with? I have only made a couple of minor changes, but Ronda gave me an excellent description of the information I needed to look for, and instructions on how to make the changes. I am pretty ignorant of code, and really have no desire to learn a lot of stuff that I will probably never have time to use. I just want something that works, and Ronda has made it for me.
Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner?
When I asked my question, I think I had a response back almost immediately--less than 24 hours anyway.
Are my directions clear and to the point?
Very clear, and concise. Ronda gave me the exact information to do what I needed to do.
Thanks again Ronda for doing my blog for me.
Blessings,
Karen

I tried to comment yesterday - but for some reason I couldn't get here
So here I am late at night - and I am afraid it won't be as articulate as I had originally planned! :) Ronda not only tweaked my blog - but she became like a blog-template mentor. She tells me what is wrong, why it isn't working, etc. We have become friends during the time that I have gotten to know her. I have found her often willing to help me learn something new about why this or that works, doesn't work or has an unexpected result. I would highly recommend her services to anyone. Just be careful - cause you'll really like her - and you might make a new friend!

Answers to your questions
Answers to your questions
I started writing replies that were kind of slap-stick comedy. But decided that wouldn't be good because no one really understands my brand of humor (Ronda, think of me falling off my bed while on the phone with you).
What was it like to work with me?
You were very helpful, methodical, and knowledgeable. You did not make me feel badly for getting things wrong - either time!
Is your code easy to work with?
Yes. She labels each element nicely. I think that is helpful for those learning or even those who know what they are doing. I hate to hunt and peck for code. She makes it easy to find what you are looking for in a jiffy.
Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner?
Same day.
Are my directions clear and to the point?
Yes.
I think more bloggers can benefit from Ronda's experience.

Ronda is so much fun to work with!! I love my blog and haven't changed much. I update my reading list and that kind of stuff. I was concerned that I would not be able to do that, but Ronda walked me though it and now it seem easy! As you can see I had NO KNOWLEDGE of HTML before Ronda helped me with my blog. She is great to answer questions and knows just how to explain it so I understand!! Just the other day she showed me how to update the layout, so that it would scroll better and updated the template.

What is it like to work with Ronda?
To answer these questions is so very simple.
She is a great teacher, explaining as she goes in simple terms in order that you understand. And she cares about your need to understand. thank you Ronda!
Is your code easy to work with?
Well it was a mess to begin with, i can confidentally say it is easy to work with since Ronda touched it! =)
Did you get your questions answered in a timely manner?
Are you kidding? Ronda had my questions answered before i could even ask most of the time, she's has excellent discernment.
Are her directions clear and to the point?
Let's just say, there is no room to wonder about what she meant or if anything was forgotten, she covers all bases thoroughly.
Ronda is a great treasure, i consider her a good friend, and remember her often.
Thank you Ronda, keep up the excellent work. You have minstered to me and surely to thousands of others, to say thank you is the least we can do.
By the way, i haven't desired to do any changes to my blog yet, have added a thing or two, but if i had or have any changes to make, it will be a piece of cake.

5 stars, 2 thumbs up and all that good stuff!
5 stars, 2 thumbs up and all that good stuff!
When I asked Ronda for help my blog I just redesigned it, having no idea what I was doing and still don't, but hey that's what Ronda's for! Anyway my code was really messed up when people would post a comment....I guess you could say it looked like a bowl of speghetti, yes? Well, I blogged for help and cre8ivemom suggested RugbyHS. I have to admit I didn't just jump to it, I snooped around (I'm picky) and looked at her other blogs she designed, I REALLY LIKED what I saw, so I emailed Ronda to rescue my blog. I have to say working with Ronda was GREAT! I enjoyed getting her emails from her filled with her wonderful sense of humor. After my blog was all cleaned up I was so happy. Then a little skepitical, I read my code and compared it to hers to see how bad I really messed up, I mean how bad could it have been.....right???? Let me tell you, it was BAD!!!! I must of put that woman through torcher, not only that, but after reading her code I saw that she is a woman that works with HEART!!!! PURE HEART!!!!
After working with her on my blog, I kept snooping....and still do-LOL! I've even worked on some blogs with her and have enjoyed every minute of it. She's a GREAT blog designer and she KNOWS what she's doing! Hopefully when things calm down a bit I'll be getting another blog makeover by RugbyHS:)
God Bless,

Ronda's Da Woman!
Ronda's Da Woman!
I am a lot late in getting around to this. If you all go to my blog, you will see I have been moving from Korea to the Southeast, so fall off the face of HSB more frequently than not lately. But, you didn't need to know that. What you Do need to know is that Ronda is awesome. She has a wonderful humorous personality to work with. She is so knowledgeable and doesn't make you feel like a dork for asking even what you know are really silly questions. Trust me, I have asked them of her. ;-)
I am the ultimate techno-challenged person, but yet through her, I have been able to keep up my blog. And even more wonderful than that is that I can understand pretty much what she has done in the code, so I have been able to add some things I like, delete some things (music) that weren't working for me.
Ronda is a valuable asset to HSB and I highly recommend anyone wanting a new look or for any other help, to consider hiring her. She's the best in my book!
