Well, I have not updated our Rambles site for over a month!  In truth, I just haven't found the time!

The first week in April marked another new chapter in our homeschool lives.  We are now homeschooling our nieces Naomi (7), Sarah (6) and our nephew Stephen (9)!  It is such a joy to watch these kids "detox" and go from enjoying the social aspect of school to loving learning!  Okay, maybe loving learning is a bit much... it's more like loving that school now only takes 2 hours and they can be out back on the playstructure by 10:30 am after breezing through their lessons!  Whatever it takes to bring back the joy!  This is technically our 3rd week homeschooling everyone together.  We have my youngest brother Jacob (15), Stephen, Naomi, Sarah and our Teddie (6).  That makes a quiverfull and quite a bit of organized chaos!  To top it off this is our first week using a new to us curriculum... Tapestry of Grace.  We are loving it!  Tomorrow we are going to walk our street to measure just how long the ark was!  The only things on the agenda for tomorrow are measuring the ark and working on our lapbooks.  A terrific day!

Today after school work was done we had a Veggie Tales movie marathon and pajama party!  We had our other nephews over, Ethan (8) and Joe-Joe (5), this afternoon and they joined in the fun!  Much popcorn was consumed and tons of laughter rang as we watched Lord of the Beans and Minnesota Cuke!  Fun for everyone!
