Psalm 113

Praise ye the Lord, PraiseO ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for ever more.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.

The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people,

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of the children.  Praise ye the Lord.

This week as I read this Psalm I was overwhelmed at the awesomeness of God and how he cares for us.  He will lift us up. This thought just kept coming to my mind~who am I that the Lord of the heavens is mindful of me.  He cares for me~He knows me~He knows all my needs and the desires of my heart.  He loves me with an unfailing love.  I am not worthy but my Lord will lift me up. 

Thank you, dear Lord, for your never ending love and grace.  You are mighty and awesome.  My heart overflows with thoughts of You.   You are more than I could ever comprehend but you are my Father.

Oh Amen and Amen!!
I think this Psalm is a mixture of praise songs to the LORD, don't you? What a beautiful Psalm to lift up and bless the LORD with.
It is a wondrous thing that this written WORD can bring our meager minds and hearts to set upon God and be totally enrapturd by His spirit. It is a miraculous thing.
I praise God for it!!
