As I have mentioned before I have been looking for as many ways as possible to save some money.  Yesterday, I went to CVS and was able to get some great deals.  I had some Extra Bucks from a previous purchase and some online coupons that I used along with manufacturers coupons.

This is what I purchased:

Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce B1G1 free~6 cans $1.29 each

Swanson Chicken Broth B1G1 free~2 cans $1.29 each

Parsley flakes $.99

Gold Emblem Cranberry Juice on sale $2.00

Palmolive 2 @ $1.49 each

With the coupons and Extra Bucks I only payed $5.39 for all of this and I recieved $2 in Extra Bucks for my next purchase.  It was great.  If you would like a coupon for $4.00 off of a $20 purchase go here.

Ruth,
I have the hardest time trying to save money at the grocery store. I had tried using coupons and the CVS and Rite-aid thing one week and spent way more than i would have if I had not used any! At the first of the year I am planning on to sit down and really look at these things. I know they will help with being a one income family. Have you tried the grocery game? I have heard of it but I have not tried it out yet. I would like to find out more about it first.
