Beware!! Graphic Picture after Dh's Surgery
My dear husband had surgery last week for the bone he shattered in his foot. He had thought this would be a quick recovery and he would be able to get around but it has proven to be more difficult. The doctor had told my husband that he had to insert wires into the bones because of the bone being shattered. His foot was well bandaged and he was sent home. Today he had his follow up appointment and his dressing was undone. We were surprised at what we saw. The wires are actually coming out of his foot and will most likely be pulled out in two weeks. He is unable to work becuase his foot needs to be elevated at all times. This is not the best picture but it is all I could take while changing his dressing.
Please keep him in your prayers. He needs to recover quickly. Being in bed all the time is making him stir crazy. He is not someone who like to just sit around. We will also be without pay until we get all the insurance papers in the mail, fill them out and have the doctors fill in their parts. I know God will provide. I miss visiting all my friends here. I hope to have sometime soon to catch up with all of you.

I will make sure to pray for your husband and the whole family as well. Hopefully he isn't in too much pain and he won't have to wear a cast. The mobilization is very frustrating but tell him to enjoy this time while he has it. Ha, ha.
Remember to visit me at my new blog when you can.

Yes I will for sure keep him and the whole situation in prayer...even the awful thing with the wires....God will hold him and make it all come out ok. Trust in Him and He will not fail you even with all the nasty frustrating insurance stuff :)
Love to you dear as you take time away to care for your hubby :) May God give you extra strength and energy.

Thank you for visiting my blog here -- if you look up Kitchen Comfort wood cookstoves, you should be able to find a photo of ours. The photo I used on my blog thta you couldn't see was one on an EBay sale. I'm not sure why it isn't showing. I use Firefox for my browser and it does strange things for alot of people I know. Sorry.
I'm sorry to hear your husband is having such issues with his foot. It seems these things are never quite as cut-n-dried as the doctors say they will be :o( I pray it will heal up soon for him. If he is anything like my husband, 'forced down time' is something akin to torture.
