I have an update of our home.  The previous pictures I posted were a bit older.  They were taken about 4 years ago.  I was able to take some updated pictures of the kids room.  I also have pictures of the curtains and chair cover I made for my son's room.

This is our daughter's room:

She has a small room. Unfortunately, the other pictures were too dark.

This is our son's room:

He has a large bunk bed with a trundle bed.  It has alot of storage in it.  It does take up a large part of his room.

The following are pictures of our dishwasher.   There was a contest on someone's blog and because of how busy we were with my husband's surgery I missed it.  The contest was who could fill their dishwasher the most.  I will pick a winner from the comments.  Leave a comment and post  your pictures on your blog.  Link back to me.  The constest will run until Friday, July 25th.   I will post the winner  and the prize on Monday, July 28th.

I enjoyed your home tour. My daughter would love the colors in your dd's room. I loved the hardwood floors in your son's room.
I can fill my dishwasher pretty full, but I am not sure I can get it that full. : )

I love the pics of your home! It is beautiful. There are pics of my kitchen up on my blog - it's more like a before and after of me not feeling well, but you can get the general idea of what an awful decorator I am! LOL http://onechristianmom.blogspot.com/ As far as dishwashers are concerned - I can definately not get that much stuff into mine, they wouldn't get clean. I don't know why, but if I don't space the stuff out, nothing gets clean. Maybe it's our hard water. It was nice reading through your blog! I hope your hubby feels better soon. :-)

I absolutely LOVE your son's bed! It's gorgeous and really something that would be handy for our son as well. If you don't mind me asking where did you find it?

Ruth - Thanks for sharing the pics of your home!! I wish soooo much - that I could SEW. I've made some valances with my mother's watchful eye and guidance a number of years ago...but; that's about it. I don't have a machine and really - I just don't think I'd have much time - maybe in the winter months?? - Have a GREAT day! - Love, Charity

Your kids' rooms are neat! I've been having so much fun painting and making our little house a home with my husband over the past year... It's so rewarding to personalize your home!
