My Dh is getting tired of being at home.  He has not been able to do much of anything since his surgery.  The weather is perfect today and we will try to take the kids to the park.  He will be able to keep his foot up while we are there and get some fresh air.  I can't wait.  It will be nice to just be out together. 

Dh went for a follow up appointment on Wednesday.  They are leaving the wires and stitches in until August 4th.  The wires are just pulled out without any anesthesia or numbing.  I can hardly stand to think of it. 

I have finally finished the crochet trim I started for my curtains.  We have four large windows in our living room and I had to crochet eight trims, each about 82 inches.  It is all done and sewn onto the curtains.  Yesterday, I spent the day cleaning the windows, ironing and hanging the curtains, washing the living rooms walls, cleaning the furniture, and finally washing and treating our hard wood floors.  It took me most of the day but now it's done and I love how it looks.  I will be taking pictures soon and posting them.

Hi! I hope you had a wonderful day at the park with your family. We went to a state park yesterday ourselves. Very interesting!
The dress my daughter is wearing in the pictures was bought from a thrift store, I believe. I can't sew that well!
