Oct. 18, 2009 Danse Macabre. Pt, 2.
Slash after slash, Hiroki quickly dodged Kyocho's attacks, but sometimes she would do a sudden back-handed slash, and would hit him right on the chest. Hiroki jumped some distance away, perhaps ten feet. Hiroki and Kyocho glared at each-other from that distance. Kyocho; not a bead of sweat on her body, and Hiroki; blood oozing from his chest and seeping into his T-shirt and hoodie. "Arrgh..." Hiroki mummbled, pulling off his sleevless hoodie from the heat. Kyocho raised a hand to her lips, and suddenly a butterfly-shaped mask apeard. Now only her eye's showed, but they were flickering with wonderfull electricity, it was no doubt that she was enjoying this. "Are you just going to bleed yourself to death there?" She hissed. "Or are you actually going to FIGHT?" Hiroki growled. "Shut up! I dont even know WHY your here!" "I'm here to kill you, now come and release your power to me!" She commanded, quickly flying at him and stricking his gut with one of the blades. He howled in pain, some dust came up from Kyocho's sudden movement. Kyocho blinked. Once the dust had settled, she saw that Hiroki's hands where on part of the staff. "GET OFF!" She yelled, twisting the handle, then striking his hands with the blade. "AAAH!!" Hiroki exclaimed, jumping back more. He raised his hands to his eye-level. They were bleeding like mad; some would think that he was wearing red gloves, there was that much blood. He winced, feeling sick, then looked back at Kyocho. "Who ARE you?"

The little girl on the ball jumped down and looked around. Instantly, as soon as she relized she couldn't see him, she started bawling. The woman telling fortunes had tooken off the cloak on her, and rapped it around her shoulders. "Anna, whats wrong?" She asked with a smile, her cat-ears flickering from the cold wind. "Big brother...." She sniffed. "...I dont know where he is!" "Oh, I'm sure he's around here somewhere!" The woman coaxed, gently grabbing Anna and setting her on her shoulders. "Lets look for him, yeah?" Anna nodded. "Okay, Sayaka." They hadn't walked too far, when suddenly Sayaka started sniffing the air. "What is it, Sayaka?" Anna asked. Sayaka's eye's suddenly had slits in them, and fangs emerged from her lips. "Hiroki! He's being attacked!" |

Oct. 11, 2009 Danse Macabre. Pt, 1.
|
A man in a black cloak and black top-hat and a long black cane ran down a long hallway and skidded to a abrupt halt in front of a large door. He opend it quickly and slammed it shut, causing it to close on the corner of his cloak. With a chuckle he pulled it away and tapped his hat with his cane, causing the lights in the room to flicker on. There were seven large cylinder containers. The first one he walked by was his own. JUMANJI was the title on the bottom, and so that is his name. "The time has come;A new Era has opened!" He suddenly exclaimed aloud, walking through the room over to a panel coverd with buttens and switches. "And we are to treat it gently!" He conteniued, pressing a large red butten. He suddenly threw his head back and laughed, causing his hat to fall gently to the ground. "Haha! Gently, indeed!" A sudden noise caused him to turn his head. "Well, hello.... my dear family." Indeed, the containers doors were open, the liquid that was once inside of it aspread on the floor, and five partly wet non-humens stood before Jumanji. Should I explain them to you? They are quite hard to do so! The first one--Fledgling--had was a bird-woman; and I mean that literaly, she had feathers sticking out of her arms, hands, legs and feet, even out of her head where one's hair would be. Wearing a black tank-top and shorts. The second--Kyocho--had long silver pig-tails and a velvet-green jumpsuit with a purple butterfly insignia on the front and a purple butterfly mask that coverd her nose and mouth. On her back was a holder, for what, no-one knew at the time. The third--Muffy--was what some would call creepy-looking doll. She was indeed very odd apealing, with short red hair, pink cheeks, a yellow star symbol on her right cheek and a blue teardrop symbol on her left cheek, and an poofy pink dress and large red shoes. The fourth--Amarosis--was completly coverd in a black armor; the only thing to be seen was his hands with they talon-like fingernails, and his bare feet that one would think belonged to a T-Rex, (the look, not the size.). The fifth--Delineate--was probably the easiest to explain. He wore a white cloak with a silver snake pattern. You never could see his face because the hood coverd it completly, and the hood was also made to look like a snake's head. His sleeve's were also long, you never could see his hands. Muffy suddenly gasped. "Mr.Fluffy!" She exclaimed. "Jumanji, you forgot him!!" Jumanji chuckled. "Dont worry, my dear Muffy!" With a twirl of his cane, he pushed the butten for 'Mr.Fluffy'. A large *BOOM* was heard, and everyone turned around to see a giant mutant rabbit, with extra long ears, legs, two long tails and three eye's. "MR.FLUFFY!!" Muffy cheered, spreading her arms out. Mr.Fluffy stared at her for a moment, then pounced. Everyone but Jumanji flinched, then saw Mr.Fluffy ontop of Muffy, licking her repetingly. Muffy then noticed that Jumanji's hat had fallen. "Oh! Jumanji! Your hat! I'll get it...." With a flick of her wrist her arm streached to an incredable length and grabbed Jumanji's hat, then flopped it back onto his head. "Thank you!" He chuckled. All of this.... He thought ...is nice, but I cant help but wonder how my brother is doing....

A man with a white-and-black striped suit merged with a crowd while they watched a little girl who was around nine, dressed in a clown costume juggle little rings while balancing herself ontop of a giant red ball. He moved onto another girl, whom was older, but how old he couldn't guess, for her cloak's hood coverd most of her face. She was reading fortunes. He then moved onto a Flok tamer, a young woman of seventeen with a wip was challanging a large and wild Flok. He didn't find any interest in this, and so he moved on. Next was a young man of nineteen whom was running a stand for little kids. A little girl came up and paid for a single round. She readied her little plastic gun and managed to shoot down a Falumpa doll. "Wow!" She giggled. "Its now yours!" The young man explained. "Really?" She smiled and skipped off.
"INTERESTING...."
"Huh?!" The young man turned around just in time to see a beautifull young woman with long silver hair, a black shirt, white undershirt a soft purple skirt, black gloves and black boots jump down out of nowhere. "Mind if I play for a bit?" She smiled. While normally, any boy or man would be charmed by this beautifull maiden, but not him. He was Hiroki Mitani; in inside of him beated the heart of a WesternDragon! "No!" He thunderd. "Leave!" She frowned slightly, her violet eyes apeard sad. "Oh, thats too bad...." Suddenly with a blink of his eye, Hiroki was staring at the same girl, but now in a velvet-green jumpsuit with a purple butterfly insignia! Yes, he was face-to-face with Kyocho herself! "....maybe we can dance instead." She giggled, her shark-like teeth gleaming in the afternoon sun. Hiroki gasped, but before he could do anything Kyocho suddenly grew large purple butterfly wings and flung herself at him, attacking him with a bouble-bladed staff!! |

Oct. 10, 2009 A Tail Worth Telling; A surpise for Jack and Emma!
| Jack's eye's showed much fear, but I wasn't THAT frightening! So what; I dropped my form, BIG WOOP! I was nothing more then a mere Puma kitten! "Mrow, whats wrong, Jack?" I smiled, shaking the water off of my fur. He gasped. "Emma!!" "Yeah, whats new?" "Your a..... cat!" "Uh-huh, aaaand?" He squinted. "You still have your same smart attitude, I can tell you that. Besides, isn't your skin.... er, FUR, color darker then most Pumas?" "So WHAT? I'm also part Jaguar ya twit!" I growled, ready to spring at the next insult. He raised his hands. "Woah, kitty, just calm down and I'll think of somthing." "Meow, WHAT? What are you trying to think of, mew?" "A way to get all of these groceries home AND YOU!" "Oh yeah...." I purred with delight from Jack's frustration. He frowned. "Stop that." "Why dont you just hide me in one of the bags? The grocerie boy over did one, so there's an extra bag." "Where?" "Inside the one with the milk, mrow." |

Oct. 1, 2009 A Tail Worth Telling; The REAL Emma is revealed...
Jack kicked a pebble out of his path. "Stupid girl... why'd she have to remind me that my brother is here?" He looked up at the storm clouds that where gathering. He had his portable-pocket-radio with him, so he plugged the earphones in and turned up the volume. "Due point is 69%. A total of 78% chance of rain, high in the mid 80's, tommorrow it'll be low in the mid 60's." He huffed and changed the channel to hard metal just as the rain started to fall. He turned on his heels and headed back to the campus. It was three blocks to go, and the rain started falling harder. He had just turned another corner when he noticed Emma holding a bunch of grogeries. He groaned. "Why'd that girl get so many....." He mummbled, for a small moment wishing he didn't know her, but then tossed that feeling aside and ran up to her to help her. Well, he must have surprised her, because when he tapped on her shoulder, she shrieked and tried to turn around, but her heel slipped on a puddle and she started to fall, when.....
"BAMF!!"
A cloud of smoke suddenly filled the air. Jack waved it away, sputtering somthing no-one could understand, then blinked. In the middle of the groceries, was a small Puma kitten with a red-ribboned collar. It looked up at him and chuckled. "Oops! Dropped my form!" |

Ikuto's POV
"Ayu....?" The word felt hot on my tounge, but why? Ayu seemed broken down, as if somthing smacked her into cold harsh reality. Her head was hung so low I couldn't even see her nose due to her hair falling over her face. "Ayu....?" I repeted. She shuffled her left foot a bit, but other then that, no response. She rubbed her eye with her right hand, then left it there. Her shoulders started bobbing up and down, and I could hear quiet sniffles. Ayu was crying. "Ah! A-Ayu!" I stammerd.
The gaurd's.. YES, the GAURD'S POV
Ikuto stood there for a moment, watching Ayu. Her knee's buckled and she formed a perfect little ball with her body, crying like a little baby. Ikuto slowly walked over to Ayu, unsure what to do, when she suddenly grabbed his leg with her right hand. His eye's grew large as Ayu told him somthing that I couldn't hear. Ikuto bent down and Ayu practically leaped into his arms, hugging him and crying. Ikuto stared at the floor. "What am I going to do?" He whisperd. |

Sep. 19, 2009 Catastrophe! 2.
Catastrophe means Disaster, which is exacally what happens in this next part! Enjoy!
Amy hurridly slammed her hand on the alarm clock. "Stupid thing... its late, now I'm going to be late as well for my meeting." Amy rushed over to her closet and grabbed a red velvet cocktail dress with longs sleeves and a 'V' neck cut, threw it on, and walked outside onto the balchoney. With that, she raised her arms and lowerd her head. If anyone had been watching from that point on, they might have thought she was some horrible monster... in that case, she was. The points of her shoulderblades started twitching like mad underneath her skin, until they suddenly grew and streatched into a pair of beautifull red wings. She then suddenly ran forth and jumped, her wings extending and then quickly flapping to maintain her balance in the air. "Tch, its been so long that my balance is off....." Amy mummbled, her vicious red, black slited eye's glowing in the moonlight.
"Your late." Amy did not flinch. Her wings folded behind her back, but didn't disapear. She ignored the man and dusted off her dress a bit. "Dont blame me, Kenta-Sempai, its those humen alarm clocks. They'r never loud enough." "Yes, I know." Amy grinned, showing off her spectaculier fangs. "Dont tell me you were late as well, Kenta-sempai!" Kenta turned his head and grinned. Amy studied his features. He hadn't changed since she last saw him, same adorable brown hair, same determend silver eye's, same golden dragon shaped earing on his right ear. "How long are you going to keep that thing on?" Kenta chuckled. "So long as that man is still alive." "Ah, yes, your twin, Yuki." Yuki, as you can imagine, is Kenta's twin. But, rather then turning into a Vampire, Yuki turned into a gargoyle. And is constantly on the search of Kenta, hoping to sometime spot him, and end him. Amy shook her head. "Why did you call this meeting, Kenta-Sempai?" "To discuse an important matter, one that, I'm afraid, is drastic for you." His look turned grave, and his eye's resembled one of complete horror. "The Sensei's think you've turned on them, so they've completly baneshed you from the Night Relm." Amy's mouth flew open, but no sound came out. Baneshed? From the Night Relm?! But there is no greater dishonor then that!! How can they do this to me? After they're the ones who sent me here in the first place?!!?
"Where were you?" "You!" Amy gasped and nearly fell of the balchoney. Min and Rin were in her room! Min's long hair was in a ponytail, and they were both wearing a short purple chinese dress. "What are you doing in my room?" "We asked you somthing first!" "Somthing first! Somthing first!" Rin cheered. "So I'll ask you again; Where were you?" Amy squinted. Should she tell them? The two meager children who could so easily talk to each other via thought? They obviously held some sort of power.... "Look, we KNOW your a vampire, alright?" "Were vampires too!" Rin cheered. Amy blinked. Min casted Rin a look that said; 'if you tell her were dead meat!' but Rin paid no heed to Min, for once. "Were Vampires too!" Rin repeted. "Maybe you could teach us!" Me? Teach THEM?! |

Sep. 17, 2009 Catastrophe!
I just wanted to tell ya that this is actually a in-the-proccess-of-being-made-manga that I'm making but I'm converting into a story for your interest! =D ENJOY!
A woman stood before a help-wanted sign. She visited that sign at the exact same time for three weeks in a row. No luck. She turned on the heels of her black boots and strutted away as she always did. But then she stopped. An unfamiliar whirring noise accurd behind her. She again turned on her heels to see an old man of his late sixties in a wheelchair with grey hair and green eyes leaning foreward and posting a large sign up. The girl strutted behing him and read it.
"Help wanted. Maid. Perferably Female. Required skills of cooking, cleaning, and child care."
She read it with interest. A maid? Why not? She politly walked in front of the man, took it down, and looked at him. However long they stared at each other, no-one know's. But, after a length of time, the man turned his wheelchair around and headed back to his mansion, the girl in tow.
"Linda, I have you a maid." The man announced as he wheeled into the courtyard. The girl looked around. She moved into LateLondon because it was a perfect replica of the back-then London, at least, before the great war of 4011. Now it was 4015, and they built the place in its honor, for it was completly destroyed. The only difference was the high-technoligy and more stable structers. A woman with short blonde hair and blue eyes trimming a rose-bush turned around smiled. "Why, she looks lovely, Wesley!" The woman--Linda, her name was,-- looked to be in her middle forties. The paper said 'childcare' so where are the children? Just as the girl thought those words two twins came running out of the mansion. "Grampa Wesley!" Cheered the first "Wesley!" The second repeted. The girl was amused by the second ones mimicing. But the twins looked odd. They both had red hair and green eye's, even though the mother had blonde hair. Must be from they're fathers side... "Did you bring us a maid?" Wesley nodded. "Here she is." Both of the children looked at the girl and blinked. The girl quickly picked up on their thoughts. "She's a VAMPIRE, Min!" "I KNOW, Rin! So why'd grampa hire her?" The girls then quickly smiled and acted as if nothing happend between their thoughts, as if they didn't know that the girl was a vampire. What they didn't know was that this vampire had an unusuall ability. She could read children's thoughts. (once they hit 18, their thoughts go blank to her.) The girl smiled politly, but it wasn't very nice because she didn't smile very often. "I am Amy. I am an exelent cook and I'm wonderfull with children, and I can dust a wall like no other." Wesley laughed. "See? Spunk! Thats what I like in a worker!" "Well the kids DO seem to like her..." Linda agreed, eyeing Min and Rin who were hugging Amy's legs and smilling like two little chesire cats. "Lets see how Mark likes her." Amy blinked. "Mark! Come out here and meet the new maid!" It took a moment, but then a boy with dirty-blonde hair in a 'flat-top'-moehawk who looked to be in his late teens, came out in a fencing uniform. He frowned. "This is her?" Linda nodded. "She seems so.... young. I thought you were getting someone old, Maman." Amy blinked. If only the boy knew how old I really am.... and do they speak french? "I am eighteen years of age, but I'm highly edjucated. I graduated early from Harvard." Linda blinked, then smiled wider. "Isn't this wondefull, Mark? Now you can listen to your tuture without the interuptions of Min and Rin!" Linda gently grabbed Amy's hand and led her inside the mansion. Little did they all know, but Amy was to change they're lives forever! |

Sep. 17, 2009 A Tail Worth Telling; Jack bears his fangs!
|
I skipped ahead of James as we headed to mine and Jack's dorm. As soon as I enterd I gawked. I had JUST CLEANED his side of the room and now it looked as if a tornado had gone in there! (At least my side was untouched!) "Jack!! What did you DO?!" "I was looking for my purple baseball cap!!" He replyed, tapping it with his forefinger. I growled. "Watch it, Jack! And besides, I brought you a little gift!" He frowned, then almost SCREAMED when James came in! "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He exclaimed, grabbing me by my shoulders and dragging us to the other side of the room. Was Jack AFRAID of James?? "I dropped back a grade, didn't daddy tell ya?" I blinked. He sounded like my brother! "NO, Father did NOT tell me!" "Well I did. I swear, one little prank and a couple of non-turned in papers can really tick of a teacher." "Yeah, WHO KNEW?!!?" Jack shoved me aside and stood up face-to-face with James. "I NEVER liked you, James! You were always the badguy acting all cute and making ME look like the one who did the bad things!" "At least I'm not doing that anymore, huh? You should be gratefull." James looked over Jack's shoulder and smiled. "You and me should hook up sometime! See ya later." Then turned around swiftly and left. I was SO CONFUSED! "Jack? Whats your two's damage?" "Me and him are brothers, but I assume you ALREADY KNEW THAT!!" I flinched. "Y-Yes." "Anyway, dont let that smile trick you, HE'S the bad guy! Spray-paints walls, drag races, street races, fights of any kind, even ones he didn't start!" I sighed. "Okay, I'll watch out for him. In the meantime, where WAS your hat?" "In a box of leftover pizza, why?" I gagged. |

Sep. 5, 2009 A Tail Worth Telling; Two tails are better then one.
|
I sighed and swung myself in a complete circle around the tree branch until my feet were resting on it. Jack was SO INCREDABLY BORING! He didn't like to do ANYTHING! For a kid who bribbed me, he sure studied a lot. (Which made it harder for me to clean his side of the room.) "MISS EMMA!" I jumped--literally--off of the tree branch and onto the ground on my butt. "Heheh! Sorry Mr.Eagan!" "I'm afraid that if you do that again then you'll have to have detention, so please dont, Miss Emma! After all, tree's are for cats, not pretty girls!" As soon as he turned around and walked away, I snickerd. "Wonder what he would've said if he knew I WAS a cat!" "He'd kill you!" I gasped and turned around. A boy with orange-ish hair and grey-blue eye's waved as he walked over to me. "Hi, I'm James, I take it that your a newbie?" I nodded. "Yes! I just started, today?" "Good call, I heard they're taking the enrollment date back some." He nodded and chewed the toothpick that was hanging out of his mouth half-way. My cat ears--which were hidden underneath a hat borrowed from Jack--twitched nervously as the urge to spring up grew. Jack pointed his finger at my hat. "Dont you wanna let them have some air? I mean, the heat must be killing your fur." I blinked. "How'd you know I was part cat?" "Just said so." He grinned. I blinked again, looked around then slowly pulled off the hat. He chuckled. "Well look at you, part Puma! Most cat-beings usually get either housecat, or cheetah." "Uh..." I waved my hand around a bit. "..I'm actually part Puma, Lion, and Jaguar." "Really?" His grin grew wider. "Thats interesting, I know a Lion myself." "Really? Who?!" "Your looking at him!" He raised his hands in the air and chuckled. "James Leon Kaji, at your service!" I chuckled, then stared. He frowned slightly. "What?" "You have some resemblance to a guy I just met, his name was Jack." His face broadend into a deep sheepish grin. "Thats my brother!" "Your brother?!" I laughed. "Wow! I didn't see THAT coming! Me and him got paired up because there was an odd number of girls and boys!" "Is that so? Then lets go see him, shall we?" |

Aug. 30, 2009 Slits. Pt, 11. "My name, is....."
Ayu's POV
My head was throbbing when I was finally able to open my eye's. I tried to sit up, but the queazy feeling I recived by trying so told me otherwise. I looked around slowly. Ikuto was asleep on his bed, snoring very loudly. I was about to rub my eye's, but then I noticed somthing on my hand. "A...bandage?" I raised my entire arm to find it completly coverd in a white bandage. "So your up!" I turned my head back to Ikuto who's eye's were still closed, but he was grinning. "Its been three days, Vamp, obviously your crime must have been pretty bad." I sighed and sat up very slowly. "I... didn't do... anything." "Really?" He sat up and walked over to my bed. "Seems to me, that the only way to get that beat up, is to do somthing thats of equal wrong." He lowerd his head downwards untill we were of equal eye-level. "What'd you do?"
Ikuto's POV
I didn't get it. All I did was ask her what she did to deserve those deep gashes and she turned her head away like some stubbern kid. I sighed and walked back to my bed. "Fine, be that way." Instantly after I said those four words I regreted it; I was suddenly being choked under the grip of that crazy vampire! "Look, I didn't DO anything! I TOLD you that! That crazy man just thinks that he can wip me whenever his interest is low. Its his ENTERTAINMENT!!!" "Entert-tainmen-nt??" The word choked on my tongue. She blinked then quickly retreted her hand, causing me to fall on my butt. She was staring at her hand with a horrified look on her face. She slowly unwrapped the bandage, then screamed, ran and jumped on her bed, pulling the sheet-blanket over herself. I sat there baffled. WHAT the HECK just happend?!
Ayu's POV
One look at my hand and I was instantly hiding from Ikuto. The symbol on my hand, the one that USED to be there, the one that symbolized my freedom, was gone. GONE! One look and I knew, that somehow, Ikuto had become my owner. LIKE A PET!! This could NOT get any worse.... "Hey, Vamp? About your little book thing...." I slowly peeked out of the sheet. Ikuto had a look on his face of regret. "One of the gaurds came in with a torch, and.... well..." He pointed to a scorch mark on the ground. "....burned it." I mummbled. Ikuto shrugged. "Well, all exept...." He stuck his hand into his pants pocket, and pulled out a little strip of paper and handed it to me. " 'Day 1. I dont know why I'm in here, but I'll do my best. After all, it couldn't get worse, could it? I'll follow mothers advice and repet my name to myself every day, just so I wont forget. My name, is....." "The rest was burned." Ikuto pointed out. "Thats all that was left, underneath the ashes." I nodded my head. "Vamp? Whats your name?" I stared at the page for another moment. "My name, is....."
"...Ayu." |

Aug. 27, 2009 A Tail Worth Telling; The Boy With The Red Hat.
| "Come ON, brother! I can see the school gates!!" My brother; Hiroki, sighed with relif. "Glad thats over, these bags are heavy!" "Oh, stop complaining for once, Hiroki! I thought Hawks were supposed to be strong, or somthing!" "THEY ARE..." He retorted. "...only hawks usually dont have arms and feet, plus they usually dont have to carry they're CAT-SISTER'S bags!" I flicked my tail tauntingly. "Please brother, spare me the lectures once more and help me find the entrance." He groaned and nodded. It took a while, but we finally found the entrance, enrolled me in, and Hiroki left me alone in my dorm. I looked around. There were two of everything; two beds, two desks, etc. I suddenly rememberd that the woman at the desk said I was going to be sharing the room with someone. I shrugged; oh well! It just ment I would have some company. Besides, they split people up gender-wise, so I wouldn't have to worry about privacy. I knock on the door interupted my thoughts. "Come in!" I yelled, unpacking my things. The door opend, but it was a guy, not a girl. He had a red hat and a large bag containing his things. He looked around until he spotted me, then frowned. "Um, I think your in the wrong room. This is room 27B; a boys dorm?" I shook my head. "No, this is a girls dorm. See?" I held out the little slip of paper the woman gave me for my room and activities. The boy frowned again. He slipped his hand into his jean pocket, then pulled out a paper like mine. He held it next to mine. I gawked; it said the same room number! The woman walked in, a sorry expression on her face. "Emma, Jack, I'm sorry to say but there's an odd number of boys and girls, so you two will have to be paired together." Jack stared at the woman. "Are you KIDDING me?!" The woman sighed and walked away. Jack turned his head at me. "NO WAY am I sharing my room with a chick!" He looked me up and down. "A tail and ears... cute. Now take that ridiculous costume off and help me figure this out!" I growled. "It isn't a COSTUME, dummy! And besides, YOUR the one wearing a costume; that silly hat is obviously covering your ears or horns!" He blinked, then slapped his hand over his eye's. "You BELIVE that your a CAT?!" I nodded. "Yes! Now what ARE you? Sheep? Dog??" He glared. "I'm HUMEN ya TWIT!!" I blinked, then stepped backwards. This wasn't a school for animal-beings? It was for humens? Uh-oh. I tried to run out of the room, but Jack grabbed my sleeve. "HOLD IT." I bit my lip. I was in BIG TIME TROUBLE; Animal-beings were to NEVER show they're form, let alone they're ears and tail! (Or in bird cases, they're talons and wings.) "Your REALLY part animal?" I nodded raphidly. He looked at my ears, then back at me. "A Puma...?" I nodded again. He finally released my sleeve and closed his eye's; obviously thinking of what to do. "Oh, PLEASE dont tell anyone! I didn't know this was a place for HUMENS!!" "Okay then.... I wont, that is..." He grinned. "..that is, as long as you give me all of your desert and clean my side of the room!" I sighed wearily. "Fine." |

Aug. 21, 2009 A Tail worth Telling; The Mouse In The Wall.
| I sniffed the air. A mouse? Yup, there was a mouse, somewhere in my room. I sat up quickly and looked around. "Mousey..." My tail twitched and my ear's perked upwards; I could hear it moving in the walls. I thrusted a hand into the wall and jerked it back. Somthing was squirming in my hand. I opend it to find a little white mouse, with big, fearfull eye's. I grinned. "There ya are!" It must have seen my fangs, for, once I finished talking, it started running in little circles. "What am I to do? Oh dear oh dear!" I laughed. "No fear, little mousey!" It stopped running imidiantly. "You understand me?!" I opend my mouth to reply just as my door banged open. It was my brother; Hiroki. "Emma, hurry up! Your going to be late for the bus!" I sighed. "Go poke your beak in someone else's buisness, Hiroki! I'm talking to a mouse!" "A mouse?" He walked in and leaned over my shoulder. "Is that the mouse that took the cheese without setting off the trap?" I chuckled. "Well, are you?" "So what if I am?" The mouse sqeaked. "I'm hungery! I have seven kids and a wife to feed!" I chuckled again and turned my head to Hiroki. "He says he was hungery, and that he has a family to feed." Hiroki smacked his lips. "Speaking of hungery..." I gasped and clamped my other hand over the mouse. "Dont EAT him, Hiroki!" I placed the mouse back in the hole in the wall. "There ya go." "Bless you, miss!" And with that, the mouse was gone. "Aw, why'd you let him go, sis?" "Because if I didn't, you would've EATIN him, you nosey hawk!" Hiroki sighed. "Well come on, sis. Your going to be late." I jumped up. "Oh yeah! Today's the day I inroll into school!" "Yeah, a school over in JAPAN! Sis, why'd you have to chose a place like THAT?" I grabbed my bags. "I TOLD you, I wanted to go there because granny said that's where Mum and Dad got married!" Hiroki rolled his eye's. "Yeah, sure. WHATEVER." |

Ikuto's POV
I woke up to the sounds of screams. I sat up on my bed and rubbed my eye's. And then it hit me; Vamp! I ran to the window and looked outside. Where was she..? I looked in every direction, but I couldn't see her. Her screams peirced through me like ice; what kind of wipping was she having?! I jumped onto my bed and practically slammed the pillow on top of me. It almost blocked out the sound, but not quite. I shut my eye's tight. End it, already!
Ayu's POV
My breath felt heavy and hot against my chest. I walked slowly in a neat line toward my cell. The Gaurds even knew that I wasn't going to try to pull anything, so they didn't bother pushing me or hurrying me to my cell. I stood and waited patiently as the Gaurd fumbled around with this huge ring that probably had hundreds of thousand of keys on it, and finally found mine. He unlocked the door and opend it for me. "Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery!" I nodded. "Thanks, Mac." I walked slowly inside, being extra carefull not to cause myself anymore pain then I was already in. 'Mac' closed the door behind me, my vision started growing blurry and twisted. One blur started to move. "Vamp!" My head started feeling weird, my neat line was now all fumbled, my feet moving in odd directions. Last thing I remember was someone shouting; "VAMP!!!" |

Ikuto's POV
She had a point, that Vampire. I was sick for WEEKS, the only reason I didn't DIE was because she somehow smuggled herbs and made a medicine that stunk like heck but sure did help me feel better. What WAS her name, anyway?
Ayu's POV
Stupid Ikuto; Couldn't he smell the poisen in the Oatmeal? Maybe not... after all, the Oatmeal's warmth partly coverd the smell, even I had some trouble detecting it, but STILL!! I sighed and shook my head as I handed Ikuto his medicine. Mortals were such a pain..... "Hey! Vamp!" I blinked. "What?" "Can I have some water?" "Sure... sure..." I stood up and walked to the water pail. He gulped it down quickly. "Wish it was colder." He commented, placing the pail down beside him. "Well, its not my fault Ikuto, blame the HeadMaster dude."
Ikuto's POV
What was with her? She seemed reluctent. "Vamp! Whats up?" "Nothing..." "Look, I can tell that your jumpy about SOMTHIN', so spill it, Vamp." "Well... the Boss guy wants to talk to me tomarow and I know its because he's going to punish me." "Punish you for WHAT?" "For being ALIVE, is one of his most used reasons. Anyway, I'm just a little nervus about the number of wippings he's going to give me." I rolled my eye's. "Oh is THAT ALL?" "Yeah." He sat down on her bed.
Ayu's POV
Ikuto knew that wasn't it, I could tell. Yet he was keeping the information at bay. What was with him? I didn't understand him AT ALL. So why did I feel like I'd known him my entire life? I frowned. "He's just like... HIM." I curled up into a ball and dreaded the next day's wipping. |

Ayu's POV
I had paused for a moment, I'm surprised I'd even consider telling him. I turned my head to him. "Its Nadishiko, I've told you already." His mouth flew open and he gawked. "No its not! Look girl, you've got to spill SOMETIME!! What if I go away? What if you get wipped to death or somthing?!" I sighed and shook my head.
Ikuto's POV
That girl was driving me CRAZY!! Her name was NOT Nadishiko! But she keeps insisting that it IS! "Look! Tell me or else!!" Her eye's seemed to flash. "Or else what?" I frowned; her eye's had little black slits in them.... creepy. "Or else I'll tell the gaurd you've been keeping a Journal down here." She seemed a bit shooked up; Personall belongings were prohibited through-out the entire 'Jail' erea. She frowned. "You wouldn't." "I would so!" Her eye's flashed again. In an instant, she had one hand at my neck, pinning it against the wall. I gulped. "You tell ANYONE that I have a Journal, and you'll pay DEARLY. Understand?" I nodded my head real fast. She released me and walked back to her bed. "But...." I replyed bodly. "That still leaves one question in the air; the one of the name of which you refuse to speak of."
Ayu's POV
That boy... I wanted him gone. He had stayed longer then any other cell-mate I ever had.... exept for one. Exept Ikuto was a big fat pain in the butt; he NEVER got off my case about my name! Maybe his tactic was to ANNOY me until I tell him. If it was, it was working!! About a week after our argument, the chef suddenly gave us warm oatmeal. I sniffed it; it smell odd. Ikuto was gobbling his up. "This..." He exclaimed. "...is DELICIOUS!! Hey, why aren't you eating, Vamp?" I flinched. "Because I think somthings wrong here and stop calling me 'Vamp'." He shrugged and conteniued eating his oatmeal. |

Jul. 30, 2009 Slits. Pt, 7.
Ikuto's POV
I couldn't belive it. Was this another lie?! "You gotta be kidding!! A Vampire?!" She slowly nodded. "Yes.... a Vampire... such a curse, such a blessing...." She sighed and turned her back to me again. "I bet.... your disapointed in me, right? That a person like me.... is a Vampire, right?" I flinched. She was half-way right; I WAS a little disapointed, but only because I really didn't know that there were Vampire's in this erea. If I had've known I wouldn't BE here.
Ayu's POV
I had my back to Ikuto so he couldn't tell I was cursing to myself. Darn him for making me tell! Darn him for making me tell on of my secrets!! Whats next? My NAME? I shiverd at that thought because I was one-hundred-percent sure that THAT was going to be the next question he'll squeeze out of me.
Ikuto's POV
Her name was, obviously, the next question I wanted to ask her. But I wanted to try somthing fist. My father claimed to be able to read minds when I was around seven, but that was when I told him a lie. Maybe, just maybe, he was telling the truth and maybe I could read HER mind. I squinted and concentrated really hard, but then I was suddenly sent flying back to the wall of the cell, electricity was shocking me at dangerous levels. I passed out.
When I finally came to, Nadishiko (if thats her real name,) was leaning over me, rubbing a wash-cloth on my fore-head. "Is that better?" She asked. I blinked and sat up slowly. "Y-Yeah, thank you." I looked around. "What WAS that?" "I'm sorry, I'm used to higher-level wizards trying to tap into my conciousness; I didn't expect you to try it though." I stared at her. "You mean... that was YOU?!" She sighed. "Yes, I've 'built' an iron wall around my mind, you could say." "So THATS what they mean when they say; an iron head?" "More or less....." She stood up and walked over to her bed. "Whats your name?" I asked quickly. She paused. |

Jul. 26, 2009 Slits. Pt, 6.
Ayu's POV
"Who are you?" I closed my eye's. How many time's have I heard that question? How many times have I told a lie for an answer? "Well?" I opend my eye's and stared out the window. A dove had rested itself infront of the window, on the flower box. I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I soon felt a hand on my shoulder. But I refused to look up at Ikuto. "I know you'r not Nadishiko, as you so claim. You wouldn't tell a lie to me, unless you were hiding somthing, wouldn't you?" I flinched. The kid is brighter then he looked. "...you can trust me, you know." I blinked. What was with the sudden tone of compassion in his voice? I looked up at him. His stare felt ice cold. "So?" I looked back down. "I cant tell you." "Why not?" "Because I cant!!" I quickly stood up and turned my back to him.
Ikuto's POV
She was upset, I could tell. For some reason she claims that she's not allowed to tell me. But why, was what I wanted to know. She had her back turned to me, which I found slightly childish. I walked towards her, but she would move step foreward for every step I took. I kept walking until she was too close to the window to move anywhere else. "Why cant you tell me? You can trust me, cant you?" She hung her head more. "Look, I told you, didn't I?" "You aren't me." I was getting confused. "What do you mean?" "Your not in my situation. You didn't live my life. You dont have to keep a valuable secret away from people, that, if let out, could be the final nail to your coffen." "What do you mean?" She sighed and slowly turned around and faced me. I nearly had a heart attack; her eye's were so red! "Listen, Ikuto...." She sighed again. "I'm not...exacally....really....ah, humen." I blinked. "Okay, let me repet myslef; What do you mean??" She rolled her eye's a little. "I mean I'm a Vampire." |
