Busy, busy, busy! :)
|
My new student, Natalie, came for her first lesson today. She's
in the 7th grade, so she's one of the oldest students I've had. She
took lessons from me in the summer of 2003, and now she's back for
another summer of lessons. I normally don't like summer students, but
I need the income and I can learn a lot from it. I also hate to turn
away a student works hard and enjoys music, even if they aren't
continuing long term. Her mom has high expectations (like, an hour of
practice a day and getting through 3 theory grades in 2 months!! I'm tired, but there's a lot to do... TO DO: Fold laundry Vacuum Scrub bathroom Survive 2 more weeks of school Get info UNT music festival June 3rd Get ready for KY trip (June 4-9) Borrow books on tape from the library for said trip^ TO BUY: travel-size shampoo, conditioner, hair gel nail clippers hair brush toothpowder (I'm wierd, I don't use toothpaste! bobby pins a new purse (mine is... miniscule. a sweater to go with my black dress (it's sleeveless, and I don't like going sleeveless... ) a notebook for the Suzuki piano institute a new Bible (I'm gettting really tired of reading NIV) |
